Watching you look through baby clothes brought back all the feels!! I’m 30.5 weeks pregnant with baby #2, another girl, and it is so sweet seeing you experience all the joy for the first time!
I am currently pregnant and I don’t drink coffee or soda with caffeine. I am already an anxious person and don’t really drink it regularly so it was an easy switch for me. My doctor said that one cup a day is healthy but that’s all type of caffeine. So what’s best for you ❤
Goodness, that bump is bumping already! Your joy is just infectious. As far as the coffee thing goes, I think it follows mostly with not too much and conversations with your doctors, as well as the type of coffee. It all comes from (I believe) the amount of caffeine in it and how the effects it can have, but there are more studies coming out all the time and I believe it has changed to allowing some mg of caffeine where as in the past it was believed coffee was wholly unsafe. As long as you aren't drinking TOO too much or your doctor hasn't told you to stop (and you are being honest about the consumption as I assume you are since you're already so careful with everything), then I would assume it's fine.
I’m 28 wks and I have been sticking to decaf my whole pregnancy! I wasn’t craving coffee in the first at all, more of an aversion, I wanted to start drinking it but didn’t want the caffeine so decaf it is. I’m super conscious of the caffeine just due to medical issues that can happen, i’d rather be safe than sorry!
I’m 14 weeks pregnant, not much of a coffee drinking but I do drink tea and matcha. I’ve just been making sure I don’t over do it each day. Maybe 1 or 2 a day
Congratulations!! For some reason your videos dropped out of my feed for awhile and realized the other day, so looked under my subscriptions and caught up on your videos. So exciting! My sister is pregnant and due in July and then I have a cousin due in April, seems to be the year of babies! Congrats again!
I drink coffee like every day. When I was pregnant I did cut back. I am breast feeding and still try to limit it. In general i try to keep it around 200mg caffeine. There isn't really any evidence that amount has negative impacts on fetal growthbir development. There isn't really any evidence that it is bad until you get to around 400mg in caffeine. 200 is the safe and accepted amount from what I understand and I felt that adhering to that was better safe than sorry.
I did not drink coffee...Pop etc then again morning sickness was kicking my behind lol...My baby is 10 yrs old will be 11 soon growing up so fast...I cannot wait to be pregnant again before the yr is over....🤰🥹❤️🙏
Had my first baby April 2020. Here’s what I changed: cleaning products, skincare, makeup, laundry products, no coffee, no tea, no pop. I found that cutting the caffeine helped when I breastfed because I wasn’t craving it. But you do you Mama! You know your body and baby best! All my love! Highly recommend a Doula!
I’m usually a two coffee a day person but when pregnant (pregnant now as well!) I have just one in the morning (a medium if drive thru or a regular size coffee mug if at home) If I have another later in the day I do decaf or half caff
Congrats again mama! I am 25 weeks today! I have my “1 cup” a day for coffee intake. Since I have a Breville espresso machine at home, I just do 2 shots and make a latte. If I want a second cup, I drink decaf as a placebo 🤪
I always did half calf to reduce my intake but I also got headaches when pregnant and that was better than taking meds because I wasn’t even playing with meds.
I drank my coffee just the same! ☕️ Perfectly healthy baby boy! Did stay away from “fragrance” and those types of things. Made me super nauseous! Ginger candies to the rescue! Sending healthy pregnancy vibes for Mama And Baby!! Congratulations again! It’s the best! 🎉💙🩷🙏🏼💐🙌🏼
Hi there! I too am pregnant, almost 18 weeks and due in July. Loving these vlogs! Question ! Which app are you using currently to track your pregnancy?
Believe it or not, but my favorite maternity jeans came from target. They had really comfortable ones that stayed on well. I loved them! I like their maternity tanks as well
Okay, aren't you supposed to avoid bleaching hair during pregnancy? As well as the coffee thing? That's what the doctors say here in Brazil, at least. Curious about it.
Coffee lover here! I was told by my doctor to not exceed one cup of coffee a day (worth of caffeine). I would have it sometimes but I switched most of the time to decaf! My son was perfectly fine! I always say, as long as your doctor approves it, go for it! You know what’s best for your body as well. ❤ Hope this helps!
I wish I had the hair products we do nowadays, back when I was pregnant. Back then they said bleaching or dying your hair in any way, was bad and you shouldn't do it. Now we have safe product options.
I continued my routine with 1 cup of iced coffee a day also! The doctor said under 200mg a day is fine. I also used a doula and loved her! I wanted all natural birth so she was a great advocate. And I loved having an extra opinion also. It is nice to have the extra support when people are coming and going during birth. Lastly, I was fascinated with all things as well for my first time and watched a lot of doula/pregnancy videos on TH-cam. Bridget Tyler was my favorite
I've had 3 kids and only avoided caffeine with one, and coincidentally she's my hyper active/adhd mess. The other two I didn't give up my coffee or sweet tea and they're both super laid back.
I believe the guideline for coffee in pregnancy is about 200 mg of caffeine? I might be remembering wrong. But it's the equivalent of like one small cup of coffee a day
When I was pregnant, I pretty much abided to the caffeine “rule” lol but I’m sensitive to caffeine anyway & always limit it so it wasn’t a change really. I would say listen to your body. You know what you’re used to 😊
My first two births I had an epidural I didn’t feel the need for a doula but with my third I did unmedicated and used a doula and it was an incredible experience.
Caffeine intake is fine, I feel like as long as it's not everyday Red Bulls haha it's not that big of a deal. With my first baby and now my second currently pregnant, I hate the smell and taste of coffee, it makes me really sick. So I always do a caffeine cleanse in that 9 months I guess, but I do love coffee when I'm not pregnant! Lol.
As a labor and delivery nurse, doulas can be very good for natural births but if you are planning an epidural during labor then they are not really worth it.
Definitely pro-Doula! It’ll also be super nice for you because you won’t know specially which doctor you’ll have when you give birth, she’ll be a constant in the delivery room :)
I (was) what they call a geriatric pregnancy because I was 35 when I was pregnant. So I gave up caffeine, was just my choice already being a possible high risk because of my age I just wanted to take out anything else. Plus when I drink coffee I can't just have one cup so giving it up fully was best for me.
I tried to cut out caffeine as much as possible. Was a big coffee drinker. But I drink a green tea during pregnancy if I need the caffeine. Personally, I always erred on the side of caution because if anything were to, god forbid, happen to the baby, I would want to feel confident that I did everything I could to prevent it.
And we hired a doula for my first son and we were just talking last night and plan to hire the same doula for the next birth. So, we obviously thought it was totally worth it!
Can you put your phone facing up at the ceiling just so you could have the conversations to remember etc..? or do they not even want that? I can understand that even just them taking to you could possibly be a liability if filmed, but you should ask if you could just voice record for your own records and to not forget what they said, or whatever the case may be. I know when youre in there and everything is happening and you're being told so many things, you do forget, (at least I did) so you should ask and maybe they'll let you do it, but then again, you don't want to piss them off lol
I definitely drank coffee and I honestly didn’t pay attention to how much 😂 most days I stayed under the “recommended amount” but if I was really struggling I had a bit more
I have three children (Adults now) I drank coffee with all three no problems at all biggest baby was 8.14 smallest 6.15 daughter 7.8 enjoy just don't drink alcohol.
Ohhhh dear lord dress the bump already 🎉❤yay❤ I’d get a pair to cut off yourself for the summer too! My girls survived me as a mom & I drank coffee with them in my belly & now as 17&19 year olds too. I craved sushi & lived in Japan with my first, she now is my sushi date. Her sister however hates fish, but loves hot wings & salad, which I craved with her…lol enjoy, be happy! Every thing you think & feel-they feel. Time will go quickly, even though sometimes it doesn’t feel like it.
I was pregnant 31 years ago and drank coffee. And because of my tiny frame the baby didn't move much so had me drinking a Mountain dew in the afternoon to get her moving
Your doctor had to know that you’d not be sloppy with your filming. 🤨 I for one am also a little disappointed. Love you guys and this is so exciting 🤗💕
Drink the coffee girl. I have 1-2 per day depending on how tired I am. I avoided my first pregnancy the first tri and felt horrible. my doc was like WHYYYYY woman.
Mom of four here. I drank coffee and soda with all four of my pregnancies. Just like 2 a day. Nothing excessive. I had zero complications and four full term healthy babies.
It seems suspicious to me that they won’t let you film in the doctors office. Especially since you’re not showing anyones faces or personal info but your own. Seems like they don’t want their words to be on film for liability issues like if it’s not documented on film they could deny something later like “we never said that” even if they did because you don’t have evidence. Just a thought very interesting
@@allthingshealthy2314my understanding is that it is a liability issue. OB Gyns pay the highest of all fields for malpractice insurance. It may not even be the choice of the physician but a requirement from the malpractice insurance provider.
I did not drink coffee hike I was pregnant! I was pretty strict, no MSG which was a big no no in 1988/89! You can cut Vs in the sides of your jeans and add elastic style material,
Be careful not to invest too much money too early on jeans/clothes. Your body will change a lot! Pretty quickly.. butt, hips, all the things lol by the end you'll have been in yoga and soft stretchy materials ! DO invest in a good maternity bra but wait until your closer to due date cause once your milk comes in your boobs will grow again

I'm due a week after you with my first and I've just been having one coffee a day and trying to stay at or under 200 mg of caffeine a day!
I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and I drink a grande decaf iced latte every day ❤ it’s got less than 200 mg!!!!
I just love watching you manage your days and getting that inside look. It’s so inspiring!

Definitely pro-Doula! It’ll also be super nice for you because you won’t know specially which doctor you’ll have when you give birth, she’ll be a constant in the delivery room :)
ya if you want to film people you have to ask them if its ok to film them or not.
Are you going to try maternity jeans? For the caffeine question, I gave it up completely while pregnant.
In my third trimester I lived in dress it was the most comfortable thing to wear. Or legging and a tank top.
Chiropractors name?????
I only drank one coffee (no extra shots) and maybe a caffeinated tea in the afternoon. I never went above the mandated amount the doctor recommends
I'm pregnant with my first baby💖
I tried to cut out caffeine as much as possible. Was a big coffee drinker. But I drink a green tea during pregnancy if I need the caffeine. While pregnant I still had my normal morning coffee. Only thing I avoided was sushi and deli meats etc
I am getting cravings watching. So happy for you No genetic carrying! They should do this testing before pregnancy?/????

I don't remember how many milligrams of caffeine I stuck to, but I did limit myself.
Compulsive vacuuming 🤣🤣🤣
I stuck to 1 coffee a day x
Back in the day we just didn't drink coffee or any kind of alcohol when pregnant and nursing. These days women seem to drink both

Why not real maternity clothes ..??? They are more comfortable & would fit better ..more appropriate
coffee is not good for the baby. u shouldn't drink it
