Jihyo is nicknamed "Mic" due to her natural loud sounding voice. She literally doesn't need a mic when singing as her volume is so dang high. Really great technique as well belting difficult notes without running out of breathe or sounding screechy, especially when she's singing trot or pop ballads Chaeyoung isn't a speed rapper, but she's really good at expressive rap and she has her own distinct flow that you can tell it's her when you hear her rap. Their title tracks don't do her skills justice so you should check out clips of her showcasing her true capabilities such as "JYPnation Work Chaeyoung" "TWICE Daring Woman" "JYPNation Rapline" and "TWICE - Precious Love" she wrote all her rap bits in these except for the collab stage. Chaeyoung is also respectable lyricist having written the most songs for their albums so far and having them all accepted by their recording studio You should really check out "Daring Woman" (2015) as Jihyo and Nayeon's vocals shine there while Chaeyoung's rap was straight killer and both Chae and Tzuyu were only 16 year olds then but pulled off a mature concept at such a youn age and also so you could kinda see where they started off as this was during their debut era. Momo isn't the best singer (but the best dancer hands down) so don't expect much vocally, but her real voice is not that high pitched and actually sounds pretty nice. You could hear her real voice best on their new Japanese single "Breakthrough" Also please react to gaypop "a Beginner's guide to TWICE" it's brief and a much more informative video than the unhelpful guides plus it'll help with the name pronunciations which you almost have down surprisingly quick. I experienced that too. I did not like it at first but I think I know why. I just became a Once on the Yes or Yes era so Fancy is my first comeback. Since I'm a late fan, I have a lot to catch up on, and everything they have is cute before Fancy. I have 5 months of cute MVs and songs and then Fancy came. It just felt really different. But eventually I liked it. I don't have a Twice song that I do not like as of now.
Momo, Sana, and Mina are self explanatory because Japanese romanization is very close to the sounds in English. Korean, however... EO (shortened to U sometimes) is an "ah" as in "cop"; A is an "ah" as in "talk"; AE and E are pronounced the same way; EU is a shwah (when you go "uhhhh..."); D and J are pronounced like a breathy T and CH. So, for example: Nayeon is "nahyuhn", Dahyun is "tahyuhn", and Jeongyeon is more like "chuhngyuhn", if that makes any sense. Learning the letters in Hangul makes things so much easier, it's difficult to describe pronounciation without using technical linguistic terms but hopefully this helps. If not, just listen to them saying their name/their members' names and try repeating how they say it; that will probably carry into how you'd pronounce anything in Korean, which is good. EDIT: in 'Jihyo' the H is more like.. Aspiration, is the term. Adding breath, the difference between "cat" and "sat." If you watch the show Jyp Sixteen ( a survival show were they competed to become the members of Twice and debut) before she debuted, Momo sang with a deeper more natural voice. The company makes her change her voice and sing in a higher pitch to fit the cute concept... this is something that happens sometimes in the kpop industry :/ In their Japanese song "Breakthrough", you can hear her sing with a more normal voice, pls react to it :D

Sana, Momo, Mina are easy to read because they're japanese and their names are usually straight forward. Tzuyu is Taiwanese however and Chinese names are almost impossible to read. Tips for the korean names: In the case of Na and Da its always a soft A unless theres and e after. Jihyo can just be said as 'Ji-yo' since the h is very minor.

I experienced that too. I did not like it at first but I think I know why. I just became a Once on the Yes or Yes era so Fancy is my first comeback. Since I'm a late fan, I have a lot to catch up on, and everything they have is cute before Fancy. I have 5 months of cute MVs and songs and then Fancy came. It just felt really different. But eventually I liked it. I don't have a Twice song that I do not like as of now.
Momo, Sana, and Mina are self explanatory because Japanese romanization is very close to the sounds in English. Korean, however... EO (shortened to U sometimes) is an "ah" as in "cop"; A is an "ah" as in "talk"; AE and E are pronounced the same way; EU is a shwah (when you go "uhhhh..."); D and J are pronounced like a breathy T and CH. So, for example: Nayeon is "nahyuhn", Dahyun is "tahyuhn", and Jeongyeon is more like "chuhngyuhn", if that makes any sense. Learning the letters in Hangul makes things so much easier, it's difficult to describe pronounciation without using technical linguistic terms but hopefully this helps. If not, just listen to them saying their name/their members' names and try repeating how they say it; that will probably carry into how you'd pronounce anything in Korean, which is good.
EDIT: in 'Jihyo' the H is more like.. Aspiration, is the term. Adding breath, the difference between "cat" and "sat." It affects the I infront of it, not the YO after it; her name is pronounced "jeeh-yo" with a long I and a little breath after it, if I'm not mistaken.

Momo's natural singing voice is actually deeper. If you watch the show Jyp Sixteen ( a survival show were they competed to become the members of Twice and debut) before she debuted, Momo sang with a deeper more natural voice. The company makes her change her voice and sing in a higher pitch to fit the cute concept... this is something that happens sometimes in the kpop industry :/
In their Japanese song "Breakthrough", you can hear her sing with a more normal voice, pls react to it :D

Momo's natural voice is pretty husky. You can hear it in her Sixteen promo trailer and performances. Unfortunately she changes it to be more nasally and high pitched and i don't know why.
Sana, Momo, Mina are easy to read because they're japanese and their names are usually straight forward. Tzuyu is Taiwanese however and Chinese names are almost impossible to read.
Tips for the korean names:
In the case of Na and Da its always a soft A unless theres and e after. Jihyo can just be said as 'Ji-yo' since the h is very minor.
She's just using an upper register but it's not fake
