Rakkfar, in fact I've spent lots of times lifting weights (especially when I was competing in sports events). I do find it incredibly boring (though I don't dispute it can be an important aspect of training). I prefer a lifestyle that has physical challenges built into it (rather than driving to a gym and spending time inside moving metal objects around). Remember, the video is trying to highlight that pine pollen has more use than just as a source phytoandrogens. Best wishes.
I have been drinking Pine Pollen powder for 8 months now. I first heard about it while I was in China. It is only now that I can watch an English video, since TH-cam is banned in China. It is good to see an independent person telling us about the benefits of Pine Pollen, and not hearing it from the companies who are selling it. For me, it has helped my hair growth. In 2012, I had a good sized bald spot on my head. It is still a little thin, but I have a lot of hair in that spot now.
Many people have discussed the benefits of pine pollen and male hormones. I don't mention the phyto-androgens here because it is well known. What is not widely known are many of the other benefits of pine pollen, especially how it can protect us from the effects of radiation. I'm not stating that one value of pine is more important than another, it depends on your situation (e.g., health, where you live, types of stresses you experience, access to nutrient-dense food). Best wishes.
I am absolutely gobsmacked by your knowledge! Finding your channel is such a valuable gift… providing me with the knowledge to empower myself with the skills to be Self reliant while supercharging my immune system…and improving my nutritional intake. Thank You! 😊
Watching from Belgium. So grateful to be able to watch you and hearing you talking so very important knowledge of all kind regarding to nature. Thank you sir.❤
Arthur, I always love watching your videos. They are extremely informative and always help me refine the techniques that I use to harvest wild plants. Also you cover every important point on any individual plant helping to limit the number of sources that need to be consulted to get the right information. Thanks for all of your hard work and thanks again for your recent book that you published. I continue to appreciate your work.
@thecoralsea This will sound like a sarcastic response, but it is not intended to be: how is the contaminated rainwater that lands on pine trees different from the contaminated water that lands on crop fields? By this question, I am of course alluding to the fact that all our foods are contaminated, so the goal becomes to get the most nutrient-dense foods, as those provide our body with vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals to support, defend, and detoxify our bodies from all kinds of toxins.
Great vid. Very informative. Enjoyed your improvisation on the tools and containers from natural materials. Necessity is truly the mother of invention.
Thank you for this informative video. I daily sip pine needle tea and knew about the pollen, but not your technique. I eagerly await harvesting some this spring.
once you have collected the flower part how do you extract the pollen? does it open up it's self or do you need to grind them. or do you dry them and then process, etc. Thanks for the great info.
Perhaps a touch more tedious, but would it hinder the growth to just collect the pollen cones while leaving the new growth? That's the method i used last year and it wasn't too time consuming. Your thoughts?
question, if there's radiation fallout in rainwater, and it's raining down on the pine trees aren't the pine trees getting contaminated from radiation? Dont get me wrong, i love pine pollen and pine in general, i just want to be able to eat it safely is it safe to eat?
thanks for the great video Arthur - well done. nothing like those awesome Maine White pines! whereabouts are you in Maine? I just bought a place up there in Oxford cty. glad to have found your video before the pollen season starts.
Arthur, can you do scotch tree pine pollen? We have pine trees but I think I missed the season. I will get it for sure next year. What are the harvest times and do they ever change season from season? Do different types of pine trees have their pollen come out at different times? Thanks for your time mate.
Hey alfred, im in otttawa and im also searching when the pollen is ready to be harvested in our area. If you find out it would be greatly appreciated if you can let me know. Thank you
Hello Arthur! Fine, fine work sir, I must say. Any chance of you knowing if the properties of the pollen of the whole Pinaceae family is benificial to consume, spruce for example, or is it only Pinus? Grace and good health to you friend, from Denmark. Marc
So ya think dmso and turpentine would be great and they are!! Love the pine tree! I am concerned about the central stuff (you know) being on my pollen. A big concern. Your thoughts.
Clarrification: to 'irradiate' something means to expose it to radiation -not to remove radiation, nor to provide any protection from radiation. (This is not intended as critisicsm, but as I said, clarification. "Communication is the problem to the answer.' Language was intended as a tool for clear communication.) Best regards.
Awesome video. I collected some pine pollen here in CT but I can't positively identify the species. Can you help, or recommend a resource? You can view the pictures in my blog or I could send you the pictures somehow. how ever you like. Thank you
How about spruce pollen? Do you know if this is also good for you? Sorry for many questions today, but i recently discovered your channel and am fascinated with the info. Thanks!
If using a wilderness survival water purification system, would it be possible to use the pieces of pine that your throwing on the ground, as a layer in the water purification system, either before or after the charcoal layer? In doing so, would this help Irradiate the water? If not, are there ways to naturally filter the radiation from water sources?
Excellent information, Arthur, thank you. Is there any evidence of strong allergic reactions to pine pollen? Some people with seasonal allergies have a difficult time with pollens. Just a thought....
O.K. So to get access to the pine pollen, we pull the branches down. Now what do we do with it after we collect them? Is there any need to prepare them or do we just pop them into our mouths as they are?
My friend I live in SF Ca. Long way away. Do you have a personal way I can pay to have this safe pine pollen shipped to me and my mom 77 my uncle we stay with 80? Also, do you have ANY suggested ways besides root vegetables and suppliments of foods we can have? Please I know this is serious, but we can't move. I have to stay for now and be with my family who is VERY skeptical to what's happening. I am taking potassium iodine, selinium, resvistrol, cilantro, suppliments for my bones, Rosemary
ok,,now that the pine pollen has been collected, now what? how do we consume it? i know that somethings can be boiled down to make things with while other things are ruined if boiled down. thats why i ask the proper way of consumption
@Arthur Haines I know you said any species of pine can be consumed but I would like to double check if your sure the species diablo fuerte pine tree, endemic to the Peruvian Reserve Yanachaga Chemillin can also be consumed because it's name translated to english "Strong Devil" seems a little dangerous haha. I will be travelling there to eat this species of pollen, is it safe?
@Elizabetherb The pieces of pine could be used, but not to naturally filter radiation. Pine works to protect us against radiation through nutritional channels: (1) as an antioxidant, (2) by boosting levels of endogenous antioxidants and (3) providing minerals so that enzyme-binding sites are occupied and we don't take up radioactive particles. It won't help with water that contains radiation (to my knowledge). Clay is a natural source that binds with some radioactive elements. Best wishes.
@the3foragers I would be happy to look at images of the pine species and do what I can. Send them along to my email address (just look at my web page to find contact information if you don't already have it). Best wishes.
Do you know of any sources of melatonin? I read this is a very important substance required in our body that helps fight free radical formations. Do you know about this? I read that the chokecherry contains Melatonin. I wonder if pine has Melatonin as well? Thanks!
What about other species of trees pollen? My friend and I have been wondering about birch pollen? Cedar pollen? Is it possible that all tree pollen is edible & having health benefits? Also, is it safe to consume pinus strobus pollen while pregnant? Mille Grazie ;)
Oh, one more thing I forgot to ask...Is White Pine the only type of pine that provides us with these benefits or are all species of pines equally beneficial?

Ormus seems to grow back hair also.
By far the best and most interesting pine pollen video on here . . . Thanks!

An excellent report. Thank you so much for your love and consideration. Well done, God bless you, and thank you once again.
Thank you for your clear concise explanation. Thank you for video showing the plant clearly
Thank you for all the info and tips on how to harvest it.
Very excited to harvest some pollen from pine trees! Great Video Arthur!
Thought I was already subscribed.... well now I am... Thanks Arthur!!!

the pollen? does it open up it's self or do you need to grind them. or do you dry them and then process, etc. Thanks for the great info.
Awesome Video Arthur, can't wait to listen to part 2
Nice, those practices should greatly protect you.
Great man doing absolutely fantastic job for the good of many.
Thank you so much for posting this info. I have found it very helpful and pine pollen is my favorite wild food!
What do you do about bugs and tiny spiders (when I say tiny I mean super tiny) that are on the pollen cones?
Perhaps a touch more tedious, but would it hinder the growth to just collect the pollen cones while leaving the new growth? That's the method i used last year and it wasn't too time consuming. Your thoughts?

Arthur can any pine pollen be taken? thank you for this wealth of knowledge.
Very informative video. Thank you!
@arthurdhaines makes sense, thanks for the answer.
Thank you so much for the Knowledge you give us Arthur
thanks for the great video Arthur - well done. nothing like those awesome Maine White pines! whereabouts are you in Maine? I just bought a place up there in Oxford cty.
glad to have found your video before the pollen season starts.
Can we store the pollen?

Arthur, you should save the new tops that your throwing away to make tea with. It's high in vitamin C.
Fascinating.
Great video - Thanks Arthur!
AMAZING VIDEO SERIES!!! I'm in Montreal, Quebec, what month would you say pine pollen should be ready for harvesting? Mid - late June?
Hey alfred, im in otttawa and im also searching when the pollen is ready to be harvested in our area. If you find out it would be greatly appreciated if you can let me know. Thank you

Hi Arthur, why do you harvest from the trees, before the pollen is released?
So ya think dmso and turpentine would be great and they are!! Love the pine tree!
I am concerned about the central stuff (you know) being on my pollen. A big concern. Your thoughts.
what about the hard yellow pines found in Florida. Same type of benefits and pollen?

just when I thought I knew everything about the white pine. thank you my friend.
can I ask you why you do not collect/eat the fresh green buds at the same time? Are they not rich in vit C and noutritious anyway? thank you

Thank you for this great video! I am interested in natural supplements for hormonal balance, would you recommend pine pollen over (soy/yam)DHEA?
