It's because they need to stay in character. Just walking away after an entrance that is supposed to be give off a certain vibe just doesn't come off right. The music should have kept playing and they should have walked out leaving the fans wondering what's next. Idk that's the thing about this show back in the day it was perform whenever wherever there are eyes watching you. So ummmm DQ is not a thing half the time now?
