    The measurement of a pipe is the inside diameter, so 1 inch pipe clamps fit 1 1/4 outside diameter.

    Great idea! I've been wanting to do something to my chain link fence(approx 300 linear feet) to improve its appearance, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After seeing this video, now I know how I'm going to do it. Thanks.

    i like this idea because it really is fast and simple. had i seen this first, i might have just done what you showed vs putting solid wood across the whole thing (like I did with my gate).

    How do the conduit hold up to the elements? Get brittle in time?

      this is cool…you could even add those long skinny wood slat pieces(not sure what they are called) in the chain link and you would totally have a faux wood fence!

      no they are metal and can be purchased in the fence area of your hardware store.

      they are plastic... Long term not the smartest, but they should last a long time.
