Sulphur, Oklahoma family reacts to losing everything in deadly tornadoes

- Sunday officials announced at least four people died from the outbreak of tornadoes that hit Oklahoma late Saturday, including a four-month-old baby.
"We are not digging through the rubble for somebody. We are digging through the rubble for things. And that's how we have to look at it." That says it all. You have your life. Life is going to be hard. Many tears will fall, understandably. But slow and steady, you will get back to where you were. Because you have your life.
such a nightmare for everyone I pray they all get back on their feet quick!

So sad, it reminds me in 2021, the Kentucky tornadoes. Been 3 years now, prayers to everyone, who has been affected.

This is so tragic. I wonder if people can opt to build earth berm houses, and if that could be an answer in that part of the country. He just lost everything. His little girl is a darling.

Sadly, it takes many thousands of dollars to have it cleaned up. That comes out of any house insurance someone has...

Like he said digging through the rubble not having to look for a body that is what I say is the best for all of them right now !!! To Hang onto that thought my Friends in Sulphur OK !!! I know of 1 family outside of Sulphur that lost all of it cattle & house they need help for themselves !!!
When I see videos of "Yahoo's" out there cheering when they "chase' a tornado, it makes me angry. "Debris! debris! Look at that!! Awesome!! It's a beautiful shot!!!" They should watch these videos. The devastation. The heartache. The loss. They won't get so turned on the next time they see one. I'm an NWS-Trained Weather Spotter (which is NOT a "chaser"). We observe, report, and shelter (if the need arises), and assist victims and NWS personnel. The last thing we want to see is a tornado. I saw four of them over my 40+ years with Skywarn, including one that hit a block from my home. None of them were "pretty" or "awesome". They were nature.
Torn there, Hurricanes hete, earthquakes west, tsunamis...HAVE NT TAKEN YOU GUYS..

It's horrible. I'm no rocket scientist but why not pick a different state, if possible.
Tornadoes hit many states. Should everyone is all these states, just leave ? Lot of cattle ranches, farms, orchards etc....research how many states are hit with major Tornadoes...
