- This is my review of the D'Angelico DC ES335 style guitar.
The Premier DC is a double-cutaway semi-hollow guitar Seymour Duncan Designed humbuckers, cream binding, a maple top, and Chrome hardware. My guitar is in Champagne White.

Just picked up a used one (GLOSS black) at a pawn shop for $300 USD, with a case. Still has the plastic on the pickguard! What a great guitar! And I really like these pickups, won't be swapping them.

I just picked up the P90 version, which comes loaded with actual Seymour Duncan Hot P90 pickups. Sounds fantastic. Be sure to check one out if you get the chance.

Should be receiving mine in a few days time..in the fiesta red with stepped tail piece..I've beaten myself up about the best option for a 335 style semi hollow. Seeing I'm an art deco fan, I love those details on this guitar. But I had to get as much info as poss regarding build quality, tone, playability & price. Thanks Andy, I reckon I've made the right choice!

They are great. I changed the pickups on mine but I probably wouldn’t bother as the stock pickups sound great.

I think the D'Angelico DC is the best 335 you can get for the money!!!
im sold!.. you can always add a range os pick ups
Saying this is a great sounding guitar for money is an understatement! There’s no way you can justify spending over two grand for a 335 when this sounds this good for under a thousand!
Got this guitar today in brand new condition for just 450 Euro. It does have the stair step not the stop tailpiece. Tried Epiphone, Gretsch, Guild and the Sire H7. The latter also is very nice. However, for a guy with huge hands, that 40mm nut was a show stopper for me. The only one I did not try is the Ibanez AS-113, which, on paper, is also very nice but more expensive. This D’Angelico plays and sounds so nice, I may consider to trade in my other guitars to buy another one.

I like the headstock on these like you. I heard some criticism about it but I dig it. does anyone know if these have headstock dive at all?
I've ordered one, the pickups are made in Korea, identical to SD '59's - I think it's probably not worth changing then on a semi, I mean why? Nice demo! (I very nearly bought an Epi Riviera but stopped at the last minute)

It’s perfect for jazz and blues. The stock pickups are great and I wouldn’t change them. I changed mine but they were great before

Either this or the mini DC. But it will be champagne white. Love this guitar.
