- A traditional Irish hornpipe, or as I like to think of it, Celtic swing. This is from my new album, Mixed Colors - Art of the Four String Dulcimer. Enjoy!

Dulcimer tuning is (bass - treble) D-G-d-d
Learned years ago from concertina player David Paton.
AV by Maria Baglien at Studio, Redlands, CA.
I see your Sunhearth has some rough edges too. Mine gets snagged every now and then. I've smoothed some and tried coating with Elmer's glue. Hurts my heart every time it catches on something. Loving your playing of this.
That's just delightful, Leo. I especially like the parts where you keep the melody going while simultaneously offering a little walking bass line. Gotta get me the new album!
Lovely playing. Met Leo in 1976 when he wowed and inspired many of us, including David Schnaufer and myself. So happy to hear him again!
Hi and thank you, Lois!! I hope more live festivals will resume that we might meet up at one of these days!!
@@leokretzner1977 Me too, Leo. I'd love for you to meet my husband, Ehukai Teves. Quite a mountain dulcimer player, along with Chapman stick and other instruments. He really liked your playing here! If you'll be in the NC Smoky Mountains we'd love to have you visit.
Thanks, Doug and Dusty! Dulcimer made by Sunhearth aka Walt and Mike Martin, Roaring Spring, PA, ~'83. Album 'out' and a few more things here very soon!
Leo,
Wonderful playing!! You have had that Dulcimer for a long time!! It sounds great! I think you said you were given that dulcimer for
playing at a festival on the East Coast. I can't remember the builders name? I saw Morgan Megan too with Gregg. You play so
well together! Keep pumping out those tunes, Doug
