I always liked how Bambietta THOUGHT she was the leader of the Bambis, but turned out to be the most expendable and became a slave of the true monster of that group.
She was much greater than them in power they just took advantage of her weakened state.
She was the leader... she just got destroyed by a literal immortal and, in her weakened state, the other girls took advantage. Her Explode straight up negs the other girls and Giselle's Zombie cant work on living Quincies. She was capable of killing all four of her friends if she felt like it and she was certainly volatile enough to do so if they pushed her that far.

It's interesting how her fiery explosive and deadly personality is merely a front covering up some serious insecurities followed by major PTSD postwar for obvious reasons. At least she and the others are recovering and them running their cafe is implied to have had a positive therapeutic effect, even if Giselle and the others have to keep an eye on her.

Bambi used her supposed comrades as tools for her own amusment and ended up being used as a tool herself, by one of her so-called friends.
Her fate was quite dark, but also fitting when seen that way.
Still, she was a pretty fun villain and her personality contrasted nicely with Sajin's noble persona.

She yells at them, threatens them, throws random bombs at areas near them, but I don't recall a single scene where she actually attacks them, contrast to what is happening to her once she becomes a zombie.

I think he's actually not tracing it back far enough. Kubo may not have taken any inspiration from Nazi sexploitation films, but instead from the real life historical figure who inspired those films--Irma Grese, the Hyena of Auschwitz. While Ilse Koch was bad she was nothing compared to Irma who would whip female prisoners (especially on the breasts), sick her dog on them and force prisoners to act as lookout as she raped other prisoners.
Kubo really did draw one of the hottest characters in the series and gave her one of the most volitile personalities. explode me mommy

I really hate how her character goes out, I think out of all the Sternritter’s when they’re first introduced, Haschwalth, Bazz-B, and Bambietta had the most potential to be interesting characters. I think she deserved to last as long as the other 2 but I know Kubo was on a tight schedule with a lot of pressure when he was writing this arc. But overall she’s got a great design, interesting personality, unique fighting style, and I personally like that there is more depth to her character with the PTSD instead of her just being an evil nazi, best girl definitely 🎉

Bambietta displays a strong and confident woman with violent tendency and a mean streak. You could say her infamous scene with some bloke either saw her cleavage and died for getting too excited or she killed him after they done the deed. After her fight with Komamura, Giselle killed her and made her his/her toy. It shows that Bambietta is highly insecure deep inside after her death and was nothing more than a puppet for Giselle to use for his/her amusement. I wish one day when the Hell saga happens we might see more of Bambietta having a face turn to help her previous enemies after learning that she's okay albeit still a zombie.
I always love a female character with a strong personality but shows her insecurities when the chips are done or have a backstory why they are at the present time. Hence I enjoyed Soi Fon and Bambietta from Bleach, Shimei Ryomou from Ikki Tousen, Mai from Avatar The Last Airbender and Raven from Teen Titans.
Well, Bambietta isn't insecure, she didn"t even showed much insecurity when about to die, althought yes she was scared of death, but wasn't even that much, she was more flabbergasted because of sajin's immortality. And you know zombie Bambietta isn't Bambietta

Well like alot of fan favorites he bad writing them to death in a dumb way. Gin to Aizen after being the 1st to outsmart & outplay him & make him feel fear & kill him, Ulquiorra to a hax asspull form after he killed the main character twice 😂, Unohanna for no damn reason at all, Harribel while not dead she dont come back till u see her i believe beaten up & chained, Bambi gets done the dirtiest but in a unnecessary dark & uncomfortable way.

(Idk is it just me or does he have a thing for torturing women like wtf lol) I guess komamura was due a win but even still he gets done dirty AGAIN! What i don't like about Sternritter group is they're basically is a bunch of opportunist and backstabbers. Hell, even the reason they lose the final war is because Yhwach backstabbing most of his own subordinates.
If only they have some sort of camaraderies, honour and loyalty between them, maybe i can respect them a little and feel more conflicted when some of the characters are died, rather than looked like a one-dimensional thugs that aren't worth to being respected for.
Nonetheless, what i can take positive from TYBW is that it's really have a lot of interesting backstory and lores, also have a grandiose landscape that can be expanded further later at upcoming Hell Arc.
I wish Bambietta got more character development. She was charming, despite being a bad with very cool abilities.
I've always liked villains better than heroes so Bambietta being so vile doesn't bother me. I really wish she got a more...tasteful final fate than what ended up happening.

I think she was able to maintain some level of control while Zombified. It was never meant to be used on Quincies, after all, so it's possible Bambi was just fighting to die the whole time Giselle is using her.
As a zombie she's Uber weak if she was given control she'd be close to her original power.

I’ve never loved the outcome of the fight. Sajin loses everything and to add insult to injury- the opponent he defeated with it remains an active threat as an undead zombie that’s abused by her former friend. It’s really something that’s really hard to swallow. Hopefully, the anime fixes it.
Sometimes art is a reflection of life. That whole fight and the ending is one of the most depressing of all the anime and I love it for the way it is. Not everything can have a great outcome in story writing or the story starts to get stale and predictable.

Bambietta felt so all over the place at times lmao. It's like Kubo wasn't sure what he wanted to do with her. In the first invasion he made it seem like she was going to be this young teenage girl in this militaristic group.
Then the next time we see her suddenly she's the seductive adult. And the fact what she said in the manga about worrying about the wandenreich made it seem like she had more planned for her. But THEN she just gets killed and turned into a zombie to be beaten up by others and abused by Giselle in very uncomfortably sexual situations.
I like her, but I'm hoping some... alterations will be made in the anime after she loses to Komomura because I am not looking forward to watching pseudo/implied sexual abuse between them 😅
I kind of think that's the point. She's young and headstrong in the middle of a militaristic organization where nobody really has personal respect for one another. She's not a seductive adult, she's a seductive teenager abusing her authority over the rank-and-file soldiers. She's the 'leader' of the Quincy girls because she is strong enough to beat all four of them at once and she's volatile enough to kill them if they push her far enough. So, she's an immature individual with lots of power (right below Elite Guard/Gremmy power) that can get away with acting however she wants. It's only after she's knocked down that Giselle comes in to take advantage of her in the same ways she took advantage of her own authority, including sexually.
She's not a good person. Giselle is not a good person. And, the fact that we, as readers, as well as the Shinigami she ends up facing, still feel sympathy for her is what separates us from the toxic mentality that the Quincy are indoctrinated into.

For the most part I just hope the implied/pseudo sexual abuse between Giselle and Bambietta is altered or toned down a bit because that kind of stuff is just....not comfortable. @@bybiblitz Oh, I don't at all disagree. I think a lot of the over-the-top violence employed by Giselle, sexual and otherwise, went a bit too far. We learned exactly how deranged Giselle is pretty early on, so anything else does come across as pointless shock value.
My only point is that the arc between Bambi and Giselle isn't necessarily badly written. It's thematically disturbing... but, yeah, the anime really needs to be careful how far they push things.
As for the trans thing... was it ever confirmed? I thought it was just a head-canon that people accepted. Then again, it has been a while since I've re-read the manga, and to be honest, I kind of just skim the Giselle parts when I do. Giselle creeps me the fuck out.

I love Bambietta! She’s one of my favorite Sternritter and my favorite Bambi out of the 5 Bambies! Yeah she’s crazy but I like that about her. I don’t think her killing hot guys/her subordinates makes her the worst person ever because literally all the Sternritter are bad people. Hell, even people we love in the Soul Society (Mayuri) are bad people but we still love them. Should she kill hot guys/her subordinates when she’s annoyed? No, but I also don’t care absolutely those random ass Quincies she killed either lol. She’s a very interesting character and one that I think has a lot of depth to her character that could possibly be explored. Something I’ve noticed about her with the anime is that she has not genuinely smiled once (and I’m not talking about the smiles she gives when she’s in battle mode) and I would love to know the reason for that. I wish we got a backstory with her in the manga and I hope the anime gives her some kind of backstory with the next episode.
I love the Bambies in general, but it will always be f*ck Giselle on my end because I will never forgive her for turning my girl Bambi into a zombie. That’s one of my main complaints with the TYBW arc because what the actual f*ck? Candice, Meninas, and Liltotto ain’t sh*t for just letting it happen, too. Again, what the actual f*ck? I would’ve rather had Bambi actually die there than be turned into a zombie. I want her to be turned back to normal so bad. 😭 There’s an art that Kubo put out of the Bambies wearing regular clothes in Bambi’s apartment and Bambi is back to normal there. It could be a what if scenario, but in my head it’s canon lol. These girls don’t know how to be real friends to each other, but then again, they probably don’t know how to be a real friend either due to the environment they’re in.
I hope Kubo continues on with a possible Hell Arc and if he does, I hope he brings the Bambies back into the mix, especially Bambietta.

It's stated in databook they had intercourse and there's multiple clues, especially that the guy had his shirt off and in the anime we see she had a cloak that she put off, pretty sure she didn't tease him, especially when it's a "hot quincy boy" and not a random dude, also when he dies we see him do the "ahegao" face, meaning he was in great pleasure, Candy says the second the boy pisses her off she kills him, meaning she actually does something with him before she pisses her off.@@hoshangmerzanazar2317
