    God almighty! That's Honda is amazing and it's got a touch of old school to me with the honda wing on the shroud. Reminds me of the 80's CR's

    The ARC composite levers are the best upgrade I ever went for. Amazing but cost a small fortune.

    Twin pipes on the Honda's cause all kinds of issues. Heat, spacing, exhaust mounts, shock clearance. They should get with the program, lighten the bike and clean it up.

      not to mention, the extra weight, is high and back, totally away from the COG of the bike. PLUS, if u go down, now you have the possibility of getting burnt on both sides of the bike, mufflers and headers.

      I don’t get it, with all the custom parts JGR is capable of, one would figure they could put a starter on their works bike. Unless is an AMA production rule thing?

      PaulXT1200Z I think the factory teams are sticking with the kick starters (on the bikes that still have them) for reliability reasons. I remember Ken roczen had an issue where the bike wouldn’t restart using the electric starter. Not this season but the issue has come up. I’ve seen kits to add kick starters to electric start bikes but they cost a couple hundred bucks.

      Some factory bikes are running backup starters. Ex. Cole seelys bike. Has 2 electric starts Incase if crash or something

    @David Pingree it looks like all those electrical connections were what is called "MIL" spec which stands for military spec for the same reasons as the wire ties just reliability but it's all pretty bad ass huh ? Love the videos thanks for all the inside bits that radiator that cools the motor oil as well that is cool

    I think that kit clutch piece is an actuator that you set that controls the way the clutch is released on the start. The way they work is it only controls the initial clutch release, so once the clutch is out, it functions normal. 2 start tools: the suspension pre-load, and the clutch actuator.

    That orange kite piece on the side of the engine is the Slave cylinder. The stock OEM pieces have been known to go out on both the Huskqarna and KTM. Mine just went out last week on my husky and I barely replaced it the other day with a new one by rekluse. Works great!

    No doubt those Hondas look the best ever. Troy lee is always sick. Yamaha.......Next plz. The Kawi looks killer this year also. JGR is lookin fly and I guess Husky was on the hush hush.

    19:28 all the weight they save with ti bolts and drilling washers, they leave that extra meet on the disc card, where the lower part of the fork guard already protects.
    not to mention, if you wanna take that fork guard off, u gotta take the disc card off. also, takes away from clearance going through ruts.

    Have you used seafoam in any your two stroke dirtbike's to clean the power valves and carburetor system yet. Is this something you would recommend or do yourself

    6:01 and 18:00 they even cut out unnecessary parts of graphics to drop weight... and for the side number plate part, to keep it from peeling from boot rub.

      Toby Tolentino these bikes cost upwards of $70-80K and certain parts are custom made specifically for them.

    So basically.... just coat everything in hard to find expensive coatings and get a set of "custom" triple clamps that are "higher" than normal, a lrg radiator and Im gonna make the main right?

    Can someone tell me WTH is on the KTM front fender at the 1:00 mark???!!! It's just below the number plate and is square.

      Its from GET it shows the rpm range so the rider can launch at the right rpm on the start

    I know we can't buy these bikes because of factory parts, but what would one of these cost to build to get it as close as possible to the factory bikes? $50-70k?

    I've heard that these factory 250f motors make very close to stock 450 power. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

      Maybe not today' stock 58-60 hp 450's but I have heard the pro circuit 250f was making 49hp. That was years ago

    the honda is the best looking bike of all of them, but i'm not a fan of the dual exhaust. the yamaha looks good up close, but doesn't look that good at a distance

      Ping knows moto better than just about anyone. The teams need to prep the bikes among other things and I feel like he’s just scrambling and trying to hurry and record with them so he’s not bugging the teams.

      Racer x must be pushing him to know more because he has picked it up.Motocross Action seemslike they are more gearhead about the bikes.But Ping is usually right.But he doesn't seem like a hands on dude but knows enough to admire it so you will too.

      Ping does well. If you did get a factory mechanic to review their bike they would give you a generic description anyway. They sure as hell are not going to give away any secrets.
