You have such a great sense of humor and you dont take yourself too seriously. Love what you did. Thanks for putting yourself out there for our benefit!!
I realize this is an old video, but I just had to tell you how much I enjoyed watching. I love knowing that I’m not the only one who has those crazy crafting days where things go a bit nuts 😅 tfs!
Hi Gayle, I subscribed about a month ago, I'm not big on messaging but I wanted to encourage you to keep up the great work. I love this series! You asked if we crafted along with you, well here is what I do. I can't sleep at night so I watch a few of your videos to become familar with what you are doing. The next morning I watch and craft alongside of you. Thank you so much for your time and talent. You are a treasure! I made ten of these.
Gayle Agostinelli thank you for the blessing it is much appropriated, many more blessings back at you. Don’t let things get you down tomorrow is always a better day. You enrich so many people you will never know.
Gayle, you had me chuckling so many times, and it was wonderful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations with us, and for being so joyful while doing it. God bless you!
So very cute! Yours is very cute and I like the bigger baby. You can see her much better. I love the way you talk to your sewing machine, encouraging her to work. Thank you for sharing 🤗
Enjoying your series. You just taught me about rounding the bottom corners on tags so it’s easier to go in the pocket. That’s one of the things I love about you is your passing on tidbits of information to help the whole community.
Thanks Gayle. So much fun to watch. Made my versions this afternoon. Watching you is what got me started on journals. I'm still new but learning and building my stash everyday. :) Love hearing you talk about Helena. I grew up there also and still have family there. Thanks for all you inspiration!!
I am going to love this series, Gayle! I am crafting along with you and making duplicates of these for my idea book. Can’t wait for the next one. I love your attitude and your laugh and the fact that you just seem like you are having so much fun. I love it! You always inspire me when I’m in a slump. Thanks for being you.
Thanks for the ephemera craft alongs. I'm a newbie so these are awesome videos to learn things. Love the idea of using corrugated cardboard for stamping lines.💜💜
Oh that was fun! The little side page embellishment is too cute. There could be lots of variations on that. I made one along with you and decorated it a little differently. Thanks for sharing the tip about rounding the bottom corners of tags to slide them into pockets more easily. I would not have thought of that, but it makes sense. Kudos to the subie who suggested it.
I think your ephemera replica turned out great. I was watching as you were choosing the words and was telling you to choose "Just Because." Glad you listened. LOL Thanks for sharing.
I could see that side of the page ephemera is a great jumping off point to make all kinds of fun vertical ephemera. It’s so challenging to try and replicate something so exactly!
New series...love it! The part one stopped so quick and I wanted to see the finished product .....I never commented! Love this idea! Thanks for sharing.
Gayle this was a lot of fun! I had to improvise a bit on that last piece but that was enjoyable, too! This is the first time I’ve made anything collage-y, though I spent many, many hours watching you do it. This will be an interesting, educational series! And my journals will be better for it!
Oh boy! I was following you and mine turned out totally different. Oh well, I had a ball and I know I'm going to love-love this series. Thanks Gayle for the only fun I have had this entire day.
I’m so glad you are doing this series on ephemera, I am in the process of making my first junk journal with two signatures and you are giving me lots of ideas and inspiration.
I think this one turned out fantastic! Glad you found the sitting baby, she looks adorable sitting up on the stamp! Lovely part one and part two and will definitely make both of these today so I can start my ephemera journal. Right now I have all the ideas like this in a little cubby box so it will be fun to put into a journal. Hmm, may have to open another box to find my old art journals...I hope I kept them! Happy day to you and your family.
Oh my goodness, your replicas are great. I like them more. First time watching your channel. Enjoyed every moment. I am new to junk journaling, I can’t seem to watch enough videos. So much to learn and all of you are so wonderful. Thank you for sharing and God bless ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
I sorted my TH Relatives into small, medium, and large in my ephemera folio and it helped me find my pictures I needed. This was a cute video-just like the rest of us in real life.
Loving this series too, I’m happy that your incorporating sewing too with the making of ephemera. I just recycled a pair of denim jeans, gonna use the material for a cover and ephemera. I saved the pockets. 🍁🍁🍁
Hi Gayle! I'm the one who bought your Rose in Bloom Journal. First of all...thank you! I have started this series and just completed the first two pieces. Thank you for this playlist. It sure helps our process...or at least mine. I love all your videos..Thank you!
Whenever I forget to distress on something like the circles. I use one of those really pointy q tips to go around the edge of it . Really loving this series and the idea book too.
I don’t know why, but when you couldn’t get the first circle punch out, it gave me the giggles and I couldn’t stop. 😂😂😂 this series is gonna be awesome 🤗
New subbie here! I just want to sit in a comfy spot and slowly turn the pages of that uber cool ephemera book. Such a treasure. This series is going to be such fun. Your obvious love for what you are doing is definitely infectious. Don’t get the materials ready ahead of time in the future. We will miss out on the hunt! Since the original piece was stitched in red thread, maybe you can add a touch of red in another way. Inking a thin line down the paper, hand stitching a row of red, or adding a thin strip of red paper might work. I just think it needs that pop.
Hi Jean! Just found this comment! (YT doesn’t tell me about every comment, so...). Anyway, it was fun to the the New Subbie Here! Lol!! So glad you’ve been crafting with me these months!! Happy New Year hugs to you! ❤️
oh my goodness, i needed the giggles from this video my friend! in the end, both pieces look great! replicating something is always hard for me, maybe instead of trying to match all the pieces, use other papers, etc but still build the same piece of ephemera? ~~hunting for little baby, FORGOT to INK! the plastic cover on the circle punch....all priceless gayle moments for me! how you were able to tie that teeny-tiny bow is mind boggling! i would need a piece that was 6 inches long and then cut it! lol. thanks for doing this ephemera series gayle, and for making a playlist of it! you are managing all the "stuff" like no on else could! big hugs 💖😊👍
Love this series already! You could make another one of the tall page embellishments with all the inking and show them side by side - I think it would show what a difference the ink makes especially on a layered neutral piece like that!
Gayle, I know that you felt disheveled while you were creating during this video but, the spontaneity is fun! Working your way through your creative journal page by page and crafting "on the fly" is interesting! 😊💕 More, please!!
Love these cards and how you used them. I looked the pink stitching down the middle, but yours is styli pretty. Like you said no two would be the same cause you put your spin on it and I'd put mine on mine !!
You just made me crack up through this whole thing. I love how you laugh at yourself and have fun. I haven't gotten happy mail but thank you for the happy moment in my day with you.
Wow this is going to be an interesting series, we’re going to have to keep pausing so we can find anything lol you doing great because at least you can kind of remember where it is lol loving it.
The answer to uncooperative string is this: put a dab of glue at the tip of the string to be threaded into the button/hole and rub that tip back and forth between your first finger and thumb a bit. That will make a temporary "needle" and makes threading the string MUCH easier! Once the button or hole has been threaded just snip off that stiff tip and voila. Done and easy :)
Here's a jewelry making tip that will work for threads too. lightly dip the end of the thread, etc in white glue. smooth it to a tip with your fingers. Then , when dry, cut thread at angle. It is now self needled
watching you makes me smile, I feel like trying something like both of these, though I tend to go for a less distressed look - somehow when I try to do distressed it ends up just a mess!
Darling ephemera piece! I thinks yours turned out very cute. I actually like the bigger baby and the button positioning better than the original. My goodness getting that button strung and tied with a bow was fiddly! I never would have gotten a bow tied on it! 🤣🤣🤣🤗
I love that the original of the second ephemera piece says, "never give up" and you didn't! LOL. I use dental floss threaders to put strings through buttons. I'm also wondering if a tiny bit of Art Glitter Glue on the end of the thread would dry and make its own "needle." I had to sort my paper dolls by size and store them in separate pockets. They were driving me nuts.
You have such a great sense of humor and you dont take yourself too seriously. Love what you did. Thanks for putting yourself out there for our benefit!!

Love to see all ephemra in this series. So many ideas. Thank you for sharing.

Love this Gayle!! It's great to see the ideas, as they are NEW to many of us.

New series...love it! The part one stopped so quick and I wanted to see the finished product .....I never commented! Love this idea! Thanks for sharing.
How great these are. Excited for the rest of the series! Thanks so much, Gayle.

I love it that you can laugh at yourself and the bumbling. Makes me realize not to take things too seriously and laugh a little.
Oh boy! I was following you and mine turned out totally different. Oh well, I had a ball and I know I'm going to love-love this series. Thanks Gayle for the only fun I have had this entire day.
So excited for this series. Us newbies need all the help we can get! I love the bigger baby! TFS!
What a fantastic idea. I have a church group wanting to see what I do with journals. I can do a box of Ephemera.ty for the videos Xx
Always enjoy to watch an epic show. Thank you.❤️🙏🏻💯🕊🌈
Love the ephemera series idea!! Wonderful ideas and would be easy to use up some scraps. Thanks so much Gayle! Hope you have a blessed day!

I’m so glad you are doing this series on ephemera, I am in the process of making my first junk journal with two signatures and you are giving me lots of ideas and inspiration.
This is going to be a great series Gayle! I am going to get off my lazy 'you-know-what' and do it along with you. You go girl!

That was a lot of fun! Thank you so much for sharing with us ❤️ oh, yeah, these are very handy videos. Definitely!
Wonderful ! I couldn't find my Tim Holtz babies, but I found a similar image from a garage sale find. My button was already threaded. 🙃😂❤️💯
These are really cute, Gayle! TFS the inspiration!
I'm so glad you are doing an ephemera series, my favorite subject! I like the bigger baby and the stamp you used, they worked perfectly!
Gayle I’m so in love with this series. I would like to thank you for all the work you do. I’m a little behind. But I am also watching recent videos.
Really cute ephemera! I like getting new ideas and you always have good ones :) And yours did NOT turn out "sad"! It is very cute! TFS :)
Fun videos. Anxious to see more of your reminder book. I will be learning many new ways of making ephemera. I will like this series.
This will be a fun series. Going to need more hours in my day in order to try my hand at all your creations.
I sorted my TH Relatives into small, medium, and large in my ephemera folio and it helped me find my pictures I needed. This was a cute video-just like the rest of us in real life.
Such a fun video. I loved both pieces. You are absolutely delightful to watch!

I don't mind watching you rummaging through all your paper crafting goodies, don't ever apologize :)
Whenever I forget to distress on something like the circles. I use one of those really pointy q tips to go around the edge of it . Really loving this series and the idea book too.
Don't feel like you have to have all the pieces together before you start, I enjoy watching you go through your stuff, shows me what's available

Love it! At least I can see the baby on the one you made, couldn’t tell the first one had a baby. ❤️🐇

This just came at the right time Gayle ~ I needed some new ephemera ideas ~ great job ~ thank you!
