I really hope they upgrade the other ships to have beverage. In my dream you'd need to load in Processed food to be stocked with water, Coke,... and food. And if you load in Distilled Spirits you get alcohol.
They've said many times there will be a all gold pass where they make all ships up to snuff. Things like buttons, locks and lockers, all that. But Carrack is waiting for many systems to still be implemented before they do that... Things like physical armor, modularity, etc. I own both the Carrack and this Redeemer, I'm extremely happy with how both turned out!
@@tillson8686 oh, like that! Haha yeah totally agree!! I also want my Carrack to be at this stage of awesome and polish. There's also an "emergency light switch" which is AWSOME and guides occupants to the exit with flashy lights 😱 Gimme that on the Carrack too haha.

I bet one day even the ship position of a chef would be a viable playstyle, though maybe not as an efficient use of resources if you're not part of a larger org; maybe a chef/maintenance guy would be nice, he'd be in charge of restocking the ship's food stocks after every mission, as well as cleaning supplies and other maintenance duties that he could delegate to assistants (if the ship is large enough)

5 crew stations and 4 bunks to log out in. Guess there will be a bit of hotbunking. As a foodie and chef I love that kitchenette with the Sodastream coffeemaker and the microwave convection air fryer oven. A well fed crew fights better because the space navy flies on its stomach. So glad I bought this baby Hammerhead Redeemer gunship
If we'd been a spacefairing species for as long as we have in lore then I would think we would have adapted either the spacesuits or products for convenience. So there should be drinks sold that you could consume through your suit, maybe by filling an internal reservoir, after which you suit could dump waste products into the packaging empty packaging which changes to indicate toxic/waste products. The whole thing then recycled to extract useful elements before disposal. I should also expect suits to have a longjohn's style flap for convenience.
What a fun video to watch, thanks for the first look! Also, may I suggest one thing, could you please use a smaller armour + no backpack for the 3rd person views? The character takes too much screen space in those shots.
You missed one major thing with the ship in its lighting controls. It is possible to manually activate the ship’s “Red Alert” lights using the light controls.
Feels like the cockpit is missing something in the middle under the radar tbh, I was really hoping the nacelles would articulate to assist in rolling, or even flip backwards for reverse burn
The ships of SC are getting more lifelike looking each iteration. Next will be a Tron-like computer/demolecular system that will allow us to download into the game and fly the ships in person.😊

Nearly 10k dps according to Erkul. C-788 dps seems suspiciously low, though. I'm wondering if that takes into account the damage from the explosion or if the explosion is even doing damage right now while they balance the weapons. Regardless, if you switched those c-788 canons out, you'd definitely have over 10k forward facing dps. Heck you're even starting to compete with the hammerhead with those numbers (especially when you consider they both have the same shield capacity). The only downside being s5 guns just don't have the muzzle velocity of s4 guns for taking out fighters. Here's hoping that they eventually come out with s5 and above anti-fighter weapons. Would be nice to dedicate the top turret for fighter defense and the bottom turret for anti-ship or anti-ground offense.
@@rolasmola9641 Yeah you can get over 12k frontal DPS out of this thing. It's nutty. I know they're eventually going for a TTD system instead of TTK but those TTKs are getting real low.
While it only has the 2 s3's and 2 s4's for the pilot, it's the 2 s3 shields that really scream out to me. It's definitely a squad ship but this can knock out some bounties easily. This might very well replace my Vanguard spot also.
Pretty insane that it has the same shield size as the Starfarer Gemini. If memory serves, mine only had 1 S3 shield to boot, iirc. Before the changes, so guessing that one has 2 as well now.
How has the Andromeda not replaced the Vanguard for you already? I ditched my Warden for an Andromeda last patch... I may ditch that for the Redeemer for group, but not solo. I delete all but Hurricanes and HHs on the opening strafe in the Andro. Hard to beat that for efficiency.
This ship sounds awesome to fly with friends. I wonder if in the future we can put a detention cell in the 2 cu cargo. It looks likes it designed just for that. As for the drop seats. They look a bit weird. I expected the beds there an the drop seats and weapon racks on the bottom Tis way the bottom part could be replaced by other modules. Like a med bed for extraction. Or some servers or multiple holding cells for bounty hunting... But still. The ships looks cool, can't wait to give it a go!

It's a big odd a ship this size has same shield capacity as a hh corvette. I can see HH getting a larger shield capacity or it doesn't make sense otherwise

I'm disappointed in that as well as the fact that they made the dual s3's a remote turret instead of side mounted gimbals. It totally kills any flexibility of the bottom turret to hit the pilots target unless the pilot is right on/a little high on target. If the turret wasn't there we would have a much better firing arc overlap.
I would replace the S3 with repeaters. Faster, more range. I would replace the S4 with repeaters for the same reason. I would replace the S5 with laser cannons. With that configuration you can out range and destroy a Hammerhead.
Nothing has range in 3.15 except the Ares' guns :D Crosshair of my Rhinos turns "optimal" at 1700m now. Ships like the Connie are heavily fucked, forced to dogfight, instead of "sniping" targets from a distance. I hope it all gets back to normal next patch when Ares already sold well....CIG's pulling the same old dirty tricks each patch/ship launch.

This is a BEAST of a ship. It will be a blast with a couple guys in the double size 5 turrets! You did take those bounties out quickly...and there is no way those fighters could do damage with two size three shields!!! I agree, this ship will change the verse to some extent...along with the Ions.
I love this ship. Honestly, and I know it's a bit dumb, but I love that the gun rack is lockable! One of the things I hate about most ships is the exposed and easily accessible gun racks. Especially the MSR. Just reach right in and grab a gun and hijack the ship.
I would run a marathon if CIG adds those buttons to the Vanguard doors. COme on CIG!!! Those bed lights make me want persistence so much more. The turret power button is weird but I hotkey that anyway.
I would've just used the Connie to buy one in game first. The Connie is still the best solo BH runner. Unless you always have at least two friends on. I'll be hanging onto my Redeemer CCU, but as soon as they fix the BH mission bug I'll be buying the Redeemer (when they add it).
I think the S5 Gats on bottom are close to ideal for ground pounding. Otherwise, for space, I agree I think S5 Ballistic Turrets are just begging to be hard hitting cannons.
Warning, 1st floor don't accept weapons in the floor and are likely to fall through 2nd floor back where components accept weapons on the floor. I could not figure out if wardrobe are usable but I guess not yet just like traps below wardrobes.weapin rack works. I am intrigued if the tiny room between ramp and wardrobe 03 is supposed to a crate lift for reconnaissance/scout/base of operation drop,? Just like s b17 to b52, that ships rocks with sounds during flight, it is loud and deep, I love it while it cam be also pretty silent when speed is reached. It flies like a brick and it makes sense I'm view of shear firepower and shielding. 1 more immediate wish. Get us NPCs player control so we can full potential during XT. I dont want to spend next xt event in a Ares all event through. Technically inside is jam-packed but pilot behring must be pulled forward when in flight mode and same location as now when in landing mode because remote control will intersect behrig canon with bigger gattling.

Explorer suits should definitely get a water sack with a straw.
But the danger of having liquid floating in your helmet is high, you could drown.

I see where your coming from, but I really think more Shark than Orca. The best point to Orca is tail and best point to shark is front/midtop

Fully crewed Redeemer vs an A2 or HH. Love to see that.
Against a fully player crewed HH, HH wins 100% of the time. Against a NPC HH, Deemer wins 100% of the time. No idea about A2...

Why? Once they fix the connie lower mounts, you'll be able to have 4x size 5 fixed on that thing, pilot controlled. Better than the Redeemer.

Gimballed size 3s on the wings is bugged right now, so you can't monoboat with the chin turret.
The back turret or turret number 1 is actually on a rail just like the Scorpius
The thing was far to brittle. Melted mine down and bought a aries inferno to hunt critical risk beacons with my friends
