Stone Veneer In HALF The Time - INSANE BACKYARD Pt 12

We are building out our fireplace wall in the addition and doing the whole veneer with a mortarless stone product called Adorn Stone. The system comes with a flange on each piece that simply gets screwed into the wall. We are also building a fireplace surround which matches the material used on the ceiling, UFP Edge Lost Trail!

Clever idea that turned out nicely with the removable stone for the hidden valve. Good teamwork going on too! The No mortar stone can make a large project turn into a manageable 1 day project. 👍

Decking carpentry is not the same as interior.

Hey Sean super random question. I’m redoing my house and for baseboards would you use a Brad nailer or a finish nailer? Also what gauge nails would you use as well?

Yo Eddie! For baseboards I would use a 16 gauge nailer and try to shoot nails into studs as much as possible, with any movement you’ll see your caulk lines cracking sooner rather than later
