I use a false entrance to prevent robbing. It's basically a two inch thick box with wire mesh on the top and bottom, the entry to this has a landing board at the bottom of the hive and the entry is ironically two bee escapes. The actual entrance is above the brood box with a second direct entry into a super.
The robbing bees go straight to the bottom landing board and enter via the bee escape.
I empty the false floor every couple of days, but before I release the robbing bees I give them a dusting in pollen, and empty the trap by opening the entrance next to the actual hive entrance.
The bees just go into the hive with their gift and get accepted, I know they get accepted because I mark a few of them before letting them out.
Just don't mark them the same colour as your queens, I was very confused when I did this, and went to look for my marked queen.
Nice videos by the way, I like the way you explain things.

I've heard of putting a wet sheet over the hive?

Yes, I have heard of that. Basically drape a wet towel over the hive and entrance. The “wetness” helps to keep the hive cool until things get under control.

Hello ya I was getting ready to tell you about the water . Another bee keeper I watch said he took his water hose an started spraying it like it was raining an that put a stop to the robing . Also sprayed a hive that he found getting ready to swarm they went back in the hive an that gave him time to split the hive an stoped the swarm . So maybe this may help someone. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Thanks for your info
