This draft tells me Spags is 100% tired of giving opposing offenses 2nd and 3rd and short. Tired of a lack of physicality. The backers and secondary will punish you. Just need to add to the DL and WR corps to make this draft a grand slam.
Does it not make more sense to trade late 1st round picks for multiple later round picks? As far as the price tag goes at least? Or taking low cost postions like o line or d line someone who doesn't command the same price tag as a rb qb or wide out? I dunno I know teams need to address needs but most 1st rounders never seem to pan out especially for the chiefs we have had great results from late rounders or even un drafted guys..when you got good coaches good culture I feel like you can make more out of lesser valued guys and pay less in the end
Yes, he can be. He's on the smaller side height-wise but has long arms and the biggest hands in the draft. It's weird. He also played at a smaller school, so competition level could have also pushed him back.
I want the Chiefs to find a way to nab Perrion Winfrey and Kingsley Enagbare in the 4th. Khalil Shakir might be there in the 5th since he's purely a slot guy.
