These type of songs actually deserve recognition😭
The line “And that’s the thing about time, you cannot press rewind, if remembering’s all I can do, that’s how I’ll hold on to you” is such of hit in the face. Reminding us that our mistake are in the past, lost in time. We can’t fix these mistakes, we can never fix the bad things in our lives. We must move on from things and realise that the past is past, prepare yourself for the future.
This song feels like a mix of dreamy and euphoric love with seeds of sadness. And the instrumental is everything I love. Vois êtes un génie.

I recently lost my bestfriend of school and I was just watching our photos on my phone hooked onto some music on Spotify that played random songs. I was reminiscing our memories and this song played at the very moment and as I realised the lyrics, I burst out crying, I couldn't hold my tears in, they just kept flowing. It was like a sign. When it said when remembering's all I can do, that's how I will hold onto you. I will forever cherish our memories together.
This is a mix of lofi, old love vibe with a pinch of nostalgia and a hint of teardrop
when a young person writes about death, growing old and captures the thoughts that would get into those senescent minds, it's just amazing.
