Hi from Canada...l received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit in May 14, 1980 at Catholic Charismatic, at St. Joseph's R C Church in Guelph, Ontario Canada. Now I was raised a die hard Anglican/Church of England and if the Priest aka as Rector made a mistake in the Liturgy it was an afront against God. So, and this is where l still clench my teeth, l prefer to call the Catholic church the Church of Rome, l entered a common room where everyone had their arms raised and were singing "Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice". And l have to tell you that the Holy Spirit covered me in a warm blanket. Someone said "somebody's going to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit". I thought "oh no, this isn't the Holy Rollers." I had been warned about "those crazy people". Suddenly l heard that gibberish/glossalelia and I thought "oh no, l want out", but I couldn't move, and the next thing is l am kneel sitting on the floor and as the sweet Holy Spirit touched me l was given my Holy Spirit language which has grown and changed over the years, syntax and all. I pray that the entire Church would receive the Holy Spirit's infilling. I am now an 82yr old Canadian grandma and the power and presence in the Holy Spirit sustains me through the hard times. I love to think of the Believers in the Upper Room receiving Holy Spirit and dancing and singing with the EVIDENCE of speaking in Tongues!! We must pray for the Jews and the Land of Israel. I am a Jew lover and a lover of Israel. Thankyou and Blessings!!!

In 1980 you baptised in the holy spirit and I was just a 17yo young foreign student studied at the university of Guelph. I love Guelph and it given me such a wonderful time and memory..Last years my whole family members also baptised in the holy spirit. Hope you are in good health and God bless you and your family.

Please read Acts 2:38 repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Also, faith without corresponding action is dead. Being left alone , read the great men of the bible they all believed and acted on that faith.
@@williamreese6642 Peter was speaking to his fellow brethren Jews. Look at the order for their salvation in v38 repent be baptized for remission of sins receive Holy Spirit. Now go to Acts 10:44 When Peter spoke to the gentiles. He didn't get to repent be baptized. He Holy Spirit came upon these gentiles by believing in what Peter told them in vv.39,40. That's Paul's gospel. All that is required for us today is believing in what Jesus done on the cross. Paul tells us in Eph.4:5 that there is one baptism. In 1Cor. 12:13 It is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Now look at how much emphasis he puts on water baptism 1Cor. 1:17.
There is no works for salvation, but once we are saved we are a new creation to do go works.Eph.2:8-10.
Oh yeah he also told me I did not need to publicly validate his death for all sin. What is simply is, He HE IS ALIVE REJOICE!

It can go either way here in America when God tells me it is time to walk the streets and preach. 1 America can be saved or 2 America will be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah. This will not be your Billy Grahmn Revival. I am going to warn the people and those in power. Jesus made it clear in his ministry about following and walking in obedience while keeping the commands, keeping your faith, and believing in The Son of Man (Jesus). Jesus clearly tells us to sin no more in John 8:7. Everyone who sins, is a slave to sin John 8:34. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free John 8:32. If Jesus makes you free, you are really free John 8:36. If you continue to believe, continue to accept and obey Jesus teaching you are really followers John 8:31
