“Better option for the shade tree mechanics” 😍 hey that’s me! That’s a cool ratchet, the way you can spin the handle! It’s amazing how the skills you learn on one car can transfer and be used on a completely different car and suspension. I feel like I can disassemble and fix just about anything now 😂. You did a great tutorial my friend!
Great job as always! That fully built assembly seems like a really smart way of doing this repair. How many wheel bearings have you replaced on the escape so far?
On my 2011, 2 driver side and this is the first passenger side. On my 2006, probably 3 drivers side, and it still has the original passenger at 240K. I also did several on my Brother's old 2005 - I lost count. I used to take them to the dealer to have them pressed in, but it seemed like they were possibly damaging them due to the short life span. In their defense, it is a really poor design.
That was a great video, thank you. You now have another sub!! My 2009 Escape is howling, real annoying on the cabin. No different on steering left to right so I'm thinking it's the rears.

Also congratulations on hitting 2k subs my friend!
Agreed... I don't care what it is, I'll give it a shot. I don't always succeed on attempt number one, but I'll keep trying.
Thank you, I appreciate you being part of the 2K!
@@linuxster I am glad you're part of the 2K as well!

What cause left wheel to shake when breaking especially if I was going a little fast..? I changed break pads and rotors twice but issue still present
Does it still happen right after the new rotors and pads? Or gradually happen? Thanks for tuning in!
@@89G after changing the rotors, the shaking was gone for few drives and then it gradually start happening again only one the driver side
