I enjoyed the part about finding parallels between the advice you use in different areas of life. I like to think that for certain problems there will always be a systematic approach or general rule to follow in order to deal with it, 'a neat mental model'. The thing about the phrase 'slow is smooth, smooth is fast' though is that the intent is to become faster over time while lowering the number of errors. I learnt this phrase from the aim training which is perhaps why I was taught to eventually go faster.

I literally am better at crossing the street because of frogger LOL also, "if you wanna get better at rotmg, become a better person" is what my favorite reduction of this video would be, loved it dude! played rotmg ten years ago and still havent fucked with lost halls since coming back,m the new shit is so terrifying tbh
Lmao I did 5 halls runs back to back cus of key pops just let people who know it rush it and if you don’t know the boss pattern just back away a bit until you get used to it tbh that’s how I improved I used to be scared to but said fuck it lol I wanna have fun in challenging content too

ye, finding sentries is rough. If I realm hopped all servers and didn't find a single one I would just realm clear for them. Not the most efficient thing but like you gotta do what you gotta do

@@JameTime ah yeah, well depending on what you have it won't be worth upgrading for rotmg and recording. Unless you have other AAA titles to play at high res / frame rate, or want to stream using Nvidia's proprietary encoder, or really like shadowplay, which I'll admit is nice for grabbing clips. Alt + f10 to save last 5 minutes with no performance hit is hard to beat.
No!!! You can rush on non-cheat clients! Sure cheating makes things faster but its more of a risk to just suddenly lose all of your progress. Taking just a little bit more time to do things for that safety net of not breaking TOS is worth
@@JameTime You cannot rush for a large discord effectively without cheats. If you aim to be seen as a good rusher like lonesome or borrow, playing legit is not a viable option. If you don't care and just want to have fun, sure play legit.

Its as if they only use cheats to see which pot to break first instead of to help them rush If you want to be a good rusher, sure you can use cheats. But if you want to be a great rusher you have to know what you're doing; which doesn't require cheats

@@JameTime You can have an AMD CPU, but not an AMD graphics card (aka GPU). Shadowplay only works on Nvidia GPUs. Do you know what GPU you have?
