it's better when you don't know....i didn't know my husband was going to propose when he did...we were at my parents house for a BBQ and his parents were there which is not unusual since our families are friends and have known each other for ever....everyone there knew he was going to propose but i didn't so when he did it was not only a surprise but it was so sweet that both of our parents were apart of it....
