Who said commenting on disparities between religion and science and making casual jokes about an ethos of which western culture doesn't follow is racisim. Comedians should be allowed to joke about whatever topic they please.

Absolutely comedians should be allowed to joke about any topic they choose. Similarly anyone should be allowed to point out when those jokes are founded in ignorance. Those disparities you refer to only really exist in the western monotheistic mindsets, hence my disappointment at Tom's material here. Still a great comedian though.

+discokev kevinm // you're not really making much sense. By their nature religions, which are all of Eastern origin, with some daft, modern Western Christian factions, should be monotheistic, unless you're chasing some modern, blasphemous ideal of "everyone's righteous!" which isn't really true to any religion... and "those disparities" sound a lot more likely to be observed by atheists than monotheists, to me. I'd sooner lump Agnostics and Multi-theists together as blasphemous than monotheists and Atheists, as you appear to be doing. Stop projecting ideas of ignorance when your happy-clappy all-get-along BS is way more blasphemous and naive than any Atheist or Monotheist ever could be... and learn to use some of these big words you're abusing properly.

I think it's a bit racist to attribute naive religious values and practices to people based on the color of their skin or geographical origins; ie so called "race"... He's mocking religious and cultural naivetes which one can choose to subscribe to or abandon, not biological, genetic or geological heritage... Your comment is WAY racist ;)

Thanks for your reply. Just watched it again, and yep still racist. Perhaps you're a little bit as well? No need to be so uptight about it. Don't worry, like Tom, I'm sure you'll grow out of it. :)

+discokev kevinm // You're projecting. You're struggling to differentiate between "race" and religious practice.

@@DrewKF The definition of "race" is "A race is a grouping of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into categories generally viewed as distinct by society. The term was first used to refer to speakers of a common language and then to denote national affiliations.". Now, I would count being religious as being a social quality. It is worth doing your research.
