    I'm building a Sicilian repertoire and this series on the anti Sicilians is super useful, great job!

      This is the way to go for e4 I think. My current study plan is to learn the Sicilian as a full system for both sides. Closed, open, anti and Alapin.

    Mio you are the best teacher on youtube, hands down. My tactical and strategic evolution as a player is enormously inspired by your lessons and i'm incredibly grateful for such pearls (the last two lessons on the closed sicilians have been so interesting i'm speechless). I hope one day sooner or later i will become strong enough to meet you and give back all the beautiful things you've taught me and to all the others that watch your channel. Strong cheers from Italy

    Good Video, 6 Be3 is the most dangerous plan for Black. I really like h7-h5 and a7-a5 without castling for Black .Eric Hansen played h7-h5 but Qa5 and Ba6 on queenside. attacking with a pawn is also a good idea for Black.

    Hi Mio. As a reformed Stonewall Attack player this is my goto against the Sicilian. It is like the Stonewall for the 2000 Lichess range as many players avoid castling kingside and don't
    quite know what to do against it.

    Hey Mio, my favourite videos that you made were your Serbian defense against the English attack which is my go to and which I have had tremendous success in addition to your MacDonell attack refutation, which I have seen other IMs play, coincidence... possibly (Thanks again for making that video at my inquiry). I also thoroughly enjoyed your Austrian defense refutation, can't find another video on TH-cam that explains it as well as yours did.
    I was curious, and if you are willing as part of continuing the Sicilian series; what do you do as a Dragon player against the a3 as well as g3 open Sicilian variations?

    • @jakub453
      @jakub453 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Against a3 - g6 is probably the strongest and it perfectly matches the whole repertoire. I hope Mio will post complete Anti-Sicilian repertoire as promised ;)

    Hi, Mio! I really appreciate your content. I study a lot of your videos and they add SO MUCH VALUE to my repertoire!! Could you please make a couple of videos on how to play as black against white's possibilities such as 1. e4 c5 2. b3 (Snyder Variation); 1. e4 c5 2. b4 (Wing Gambit) 1. e4 c5 2. a3 as well as an annoying: 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bb5 or Chekhover Variation with Qxd4 instead of Nxd4 or systems after 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. c3 (when white players do not play d4 on move 3) ??

    Hugh Engagement of our Butcher. It is amazing with how much Passion he introduces us into the deepest secrets of Chess. I am elo slidely over 2000 was always afraid of playing the sharp Sicilian but Mitro took away my fears. I am greatful.

  • @gm2407
    @gm2407 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So to paraphrase.
    For Black play a hyper accellerated dragon. then mobilise the majority of your pieces to attack on the queen side into the centre following pawn clearance trades. This is due to White attacking on the King side mainly.
    Is that the general strategy?
    Black is playing on all three sides and white is shortening the battle line trying to break through with a collumn before being flanked.

    Great video. At 28:27 after Hansen’s …Ba6, White has f5! which has caught me out in blitz a couple of times due to the undefended c6 knight. The engine recommends …Rb6 first, to defend the c6 knight, before playing Ba6.

      @@MiodragPerunovicOfficial Oh yes, it was about some evil King's Gambit "butcher" line for white pieces 😃🪓👍 I always think that is possible to set up a strong attack playing this opening, but I also know that black pieces have good options to balance the game. So do you have any butcher idea to play? That's it 😃🙏 Thanks!! 🇧🇷

    One of your main points is not allowing white's light squared bishop to take the knight on c6. What in your opinion in Black's best move against the Rossolimo (3.Bb5)? Becuase in the main responses; g6 and e6, White can take on c6 and this would seem to clash against your approach in this Closed Sicilain. Maybe the position is so early it doesnt matter as much? Anyway, very keen to hear your insights. Do you have a course on the Rossolimo I'm not seeing?

    • @MiodragPerunovicOfficial
      @MiodragPerunovicOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is a difference between Rossolimo where Black allow Bc6 and Butcher the Sicilian, where it is bad for Black because White plays f4 and Nf3 without any problems…
