      100% agree man. I have a m4, luckily I have found many good owners around me on the forums that were happy to help. Southern California has some cool people in the bmw scene.

    I remember a while back, I went up to this guy that had a new f80. I had a 335 at the time. I just told him nice car. He replied it’s a m3 with a smirk. I tried to talk to him but he was so disrespectful and arrogant. That I left. I think the people that don’t help are the people that buy the car for the status and actually don’t know what’s on or in there car. I think it’s getting way better. But there are still a lot of those people. Great video man. Now I have an m4 I love those wheels

      I agree, I do think its getting better but there are some people like the guy you mentioned that will forever live in a dream world. Yeah I started with a F30 335i and eventually moved onto a F80 and its been a such a good time so far. Thanks for checking out the video.

    I can definitely say that with my very first BMW E46 330ci and M3, trying to communicate with enthusiast in forums was very underwhelming. It’s been a lot more welcoming via meeting enthusiast at meets, chatting here on TH-cam with followers inquiring about DIY tips and mods, and IG even. With that, I don’t think it should be so much of a secret if it’s for street and possibly show application. As for keeping the specs a secret for racing competition, I could see and respect that, as I would a discussion tuning specs and engine mods. Overall, I appreciate you sharing this video and please feel free to reach out anytime if you have maintenance DIYs, mods, and troubleshooting. BTW, I am so looking forward to another epic BMW Invasion season opener. See you soon Bro 🤘🏽💯

      Thanks brother! All good points and I can also relate. Surprisingly, majority of the feedback has been positive and hopefully this opens some eyes on how we should act with other enthusiasts.
      February's event is going to be EPIC. Can't wait to see all the BMWs in such a cool venue!

    I don’t know man negative 2.6 degrees of camber is a lot and will wear your tires faster you’re much better off taking the spacer off entirely and setting camber a bit more positive will probably look exactly the same and help with traction. Nice video tho man good work 👍

    • @TheDailyDriven
      @TheDailyDriven  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it will slightly wear out the inner portion of the tire but it really isn't that bad. I've been running -2.6 on my LM set up and it's been fine. Nothing concerning where it's overally worn out.
      I wanted to keep the current setup so I'm able to swap back to my LM's. Which that setup requires that neg camber. Appreciate you checking out the video 👍🏻🤘🏻

    I’m running titan ts5 19” which has the same spec as fir, running 265/295 35 19 without a problem. And yeah it took me a lot of time researching in the forum to see if 35 profile is too much in the rear, thankfully they fit perfectly. Anyone knows if 275 in the front would rub?

    • @TheDailyDriven
      @TheDailyDriven  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know in the past, I would buy wheels and then hate the way they looked. (Way back in the days). The 275 should work if you dont have any spacers and depends on how low you are too.

  • @dannym7460
    @dannym7460 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't think wheel specs/fitment is a secret - you're just going to the wrong sources for info. Asking someone on IG who probably doesn't know you personally? Not surprising that they may not respond and share any info with you; don't get too offended. Wheel fitment for the f80/f82 platform is widely available online not to mention the amount for differing variables you need to account for so there are no secrets just lack of knowledge.
