Kombyat.. a treat to watch..
After watching this short film the main characters in the movie Agenlo and Kenny still lingered in my mind for some time even after the rolling of credits had stopped. Kombyat is a unique attempt in Konkani movie with its distinct approach towards storytelling and of course makers are successful in striking a chrod with audience with this brilliant attempt.
There have been many south Indian movies successfully made with their unique approach towards story with raw characterization. Movies like 'Kunjiramayanam,'Kamattipadam, Njan Prakasahan,Maheshnite Pratikaram,Angamaly diaries, Nna Than Case Kodu, Kaka muttai, Visaranai, Thiti, Rama Rama re and many more have been successful in this regard and am happy Kombyat makes a successful attempt to join this league with a bold attempt to think outside the box to present this wonderful story.
Agenlo and kenny carry the plot beautifully in the movie and there is warmth in their conversation and fragrance of the land they live in. They are the soul of the movie with their superb acting. The character of Joyce also adds her own ruggedness to the story.
Overall its a treat to watch, beautifully crafted! Friendship, dilemma, Kombyat.. nicely portrayed.
Kombyat.. has been successful and a wonderful movie, even though I longed to watch much more screen presence for characters to unflod gradually and wanted to savour this movie for some more time but it ended soon just like last two seasons of Game of thrones.. wish they had sustained it more..
Song and background music is beautifully done and resonates with story vividly. Well done Prajoth D'sa and Vanil Veigas .
Kombyat..rooster fight draws similies with the storyline and there are sparks of rebellion infused wonderfully. As the tag line of the movie- 'zooz asthithvacho,' after all Cockfighting is a blood sport and roosters do fight for their survival.
Again Kudos to Nellu Permannur and whole team behind Kombyat.. waiting for many more movies like this perhaps with more length to enjoy it longer.

all aspects of the movie are nicely sewed in one frame. the script, the theme, the ground realities of coast life, direction, music, cinematography, all theactors, the colure theme of the movie, editing, etc. everything so beautifully sewed together and created a beautiful screen on the screen. we expect the same I mean the same in the future. pls do the same kind of short movies.
