- It’s Peñafrancia Festival season. All roads are leading to Naga City. But Eman, an eigth year old boy, is left in his far hometown. He envies other kids & classmates who are going to the city. But because their family is not well off, he is nowhere to go but to stay at their house. His only company is his father. He is always missing his mother as she is far abroad for atleast three months. He sometimes feels sadness but his father keeps him encouraged. In the absence of his mother, he will discover the motherhood of Ina (Our Lady of Peñafrancia).
Pepe, on the other hand, is an upright man but his virtue will be tempted by the community he lives in. Though the tests are many, his righteousness will endure and instead of being changed by the common pressure, he will be a living inspiration to others. With his strong devotion to Ina, he is able to transform himself better and that ripples to every heart in the community.
Challenges come to Pepe and Eman, but their devotion to Ina helps them to survive. They find Ina everywhere they go because they place her in their own heart. They discover that love is not measure by distance but how they live it. They feel that Ina is always present in their midst to lead us all to goodness of heart - to bring us closer to his Son Jesus Christ.
