I was never mathematically or mechanically inclined but I applied at TEAM industries in Minnesota as a machinist. I assumed it was just labor, lifting and moving parts, but they failed to tell me I needed a lot of these skills to ensure I was making quality parts. These videos really put me at ease, thank you so much

Cool, this guy would have been a great shop teacher. Wish I had his instructions when I was young. Good luck with your progress!

Hello, I am a researcher in Iran and I have patents and articles in various fields, and I really enjoyed your teaching method, simple and with deep concepts that are the basis of a correct view in machining.

Just watching the first few videos have eased my anxiety and actually helped me feel excited about my new opportunity. Lately I’ve been wondering if I got over my head in this new roll. I haven’t started yet, but when I do, I will be a bit more confident. Thank you so much.

Glad I found your channel, starting school next month in South Carolina and am kind of declined with math so this is very useful for a head start. I also lived in Wisconsin for 5 years in Appleton so you’re easy to listen to haha

I just became a CNC Machinist. They have me working on a Lathe right now. My dads side of the fam are all Machinists, well managers of their companies now. I went to school for CNC and CAD. I’m only on my first week of work, but definitely enjoy the learning experience!
The basic tools I work with are calipers, Pins to measure tolerances, micrometer and a comparator. The fun part is actually learning the programming to adjust the machine to make that part right!
You’re right. It’s not hard. I have Dyslexia, ADD, and I am not the greatest at math. The math is not hard either.

Great video Matt, man when you got to the end and started talking school learning and common sense, I almost turned into a cheerleader,, I have seen so much in my years, and the farm and hay wow, I have been there, 100 plus cows milked twice a day and going to school, but now you are very lucky if the kids today can even do fractions, much less decimals, and common sense, is there such a thing any more, like you I learned on the farm welding and building everything you needed,, so I consider myself way ahead of the game, I have subed, and going to start on the vids you have on your page, I am kind of old to be learning this but I want to do something since I am retired,, this sucks just sitting around,,, I have lathe and several other tools, but not cnc controlled, have thought many times about putting cnc on them.. thanks for the video Jim

Always remember to repent of your sins (sin is transgression of YAHUAH’S LAW: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy) And Have Belief On YAHUSHA HAMASHYACH. HE Died and Rose three days later so that you can be forgiven of your sins!
HE Loves you! Come to HIM!🙂
