Canning Cherries for Cherry Pie Filling

- In this video, I show you how I canned fresh cherries to use for cherry pie filling.
TLDR:
Wash and pit cherries (12 cups)
Boil water (4 cups), sugar (2 1/2 cups), and lemon juice (1/3 cup)
Add cherries to the mixture
Boil until cherries foam
Remove from heat and scoop off foam
Fill jars and leave 1/2 inch headspace
Process jars in water bath canner for 35 minutes
Mix cherries with corn starch slurry to make cherry pie filling
