First time seeing this layout and I GENUINELY thought this was 2.2. No joke, this gameplay aged beautifully and it blows my mind how people were able to do this back then with such limitations. I strive to make good gameplay like this.
It’s less limited than you might think honestly. Keep in mind that people have been breaking this game since triggers were introduced back in 2.0 (look at mastergame), and with nearly 7 years between updates there was a lot of time to innovate and stretch the editor as far as it could go. 2.2 expanded the scope a lot for sure, but a lot of what it introduced were optimizations for things that were already possible. Not to say that this layout isn’t insane, I still think it’s one of the best of all time tbh
I was so confused at what was happening at first, until I turned my screen's saturation filter off and saw the colors representing each icon. This level is absolutely amazing visuals-wise, also with a good base. Istg im going to commit visuals now 🔥

As a layout creator and someone who has seen tons of different layouts throughout my life, no other layout comes even close to this in perfection Perfect musical representation practically throughout the whole level So many gimmicks i have never seen before, that are all executed perfectly Expressing so many emotions in a single level, while still being a layout And it was made by one person with only 23 editor hours... You definitly deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame of layout creators, and this is certainly a masterpiece of a layout
