I got this deck and guidebook in the summer when it first came out in the US. I was smitten with the art work and particularly the color palette. I recommend reading the guidebook from beginning to end before jumping into reading with the cards - the approach is very different from what we are used to in typical RWS. Benoit is a character of Barbara Moore's invention and kind of the cheeky guide throughout - I found her fun. Yet, I struggled connecting with this new method of reading. Will happily try again next summer as the deck just screams take me to the beach with you. In the US the hare depicted is an imaginary creature of the US' State of Wyoming and the desert regions - referred to as a Jackalope. Wikipedia "The jackalope is a mythical animal of North American folklore described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns. The word jackalope is a portmanteau of jackrabbit and antelope. Many jackalope taxidermy mounts, including the original, are made with deer antlers. "
Ooo, perfect timing. Mine is arriving today. I ordered from Cheryl so figures. 😅. I can't wait to get stuck in. I wasn't sold when i first saw a walk through, but every one i watch, i see something else i love. Thank you, Simon xXx
Something so very special about this deck! At the top of my wishlist! Will be heading over to Oneness Emporium asap. The artwork is amazing, diverse people, clothing has a sort of modern feel, which I don't usually like but here just works. There is a depth of meaning in the imagery and yes, they missed a trick with the description. Having a beautiful book is no substitute for the creators 5 years of insights. The Magician is very Marseille. I love everything about this deck. You know how much I love your videos but I do miss Cheryl and Spotlight and how you discuss things together. Sending love to them daily.
Hi Simon. Love popping by to watch your reviews! I just wondered if you might have any good tips for edging this deck please? The cards are so beautiful but quite thin. I tested a sharpie on one corner of a card and it immediately marked the front. 😮 Fo you think it’s best to not bother or have you managed to edge yours? Thank you
I had this on my wishlist a month and a half ago, but when I realized Amazon didn't have it yet but was just queuing up buyers for pre-sales, I took it off my list. Having since seen a few walkthroughs I'm not sure I still need it. Visually, it reminds me, and might pair well with the Everyday Witch Tarot. The backs are gorgeous!
I’ve been eagerly anticipating its release here. I can say I’m not disappointed. Llewelyn had pulled it out of the bag. My only criticism would be the thinness of the paper within the book, but that would be very picky of me.
Yes i have that feeling about Everyday Witch and I love that too, which I can't really explain as I am a very visual traditionalist and adore the Old Style Tarot.
Gorgeous deck! I would buy it for the Two of Cups card alone! What a beautiful card that is! I love the colours in the deck, especially the blues. Great walk through, thank you, Simon 😊
@@the_hermits_cave hi! One that follows the system, like this one does. I’ve seen so many that follows the RWS system and you have one or two so I just wondered what was your favourite decks, recent ones or older. I’m very new to tarot and looking for a good RWS system deck with guide book and hoping for suggestions. I have so many I have looked at and love but need some guidance if you could give me any. Thanks in advance. 😊
I have put stickers on the back of the seals so they can be peeled off and used or kept . Love this deck. The book is great and would help understand Marseille a b it better, until it comes to the court cards. Absolutely no help at all
GORGEOUS!❤GORGEOUS!❤GORGEOUS!❤ Just love this deck and ordered it before you even started the walk through I just fell in love with that hare with antlers in the box and the quirky bees, mice, owls and flying fish. I enjoy your walk throughs even when I don't jive with the items or decks. Thank you for sharing!

It’s a sweet and friendly deck. Loving the vibes on this one.
There is a lovely ‘softness’ too it, both in production and images.

I've had this deck for 4 days. I love it
I can see why!
Lovely deck.
This deck is fantastic! I really liked it. What is your favourite RWS clone? 😊
Clone as in copying the RWS or one that just follows the system?
