I listened to this for the first time last night. This is very realistic. I spent nearly a decade in the mountains traveling and living light. Many a night I would bunk under a big pine tree in a deep bed of pine needles with my sleeping bag and next to me a plastic or light canvas tarp. If it rained a bit I would tuck one side of the tarp under me a bit to keep it from blowing off, flip the tarp over me and lay a stick or something over the other side. I’d have it loose over me so it breathed well. Last night when I lay down for the night I put this on with earbuds, adjusted the volume down to where it sounded like a very light rain and slept well. When I woke up the sound was still going and it brought back memories of waking up under the tree under a tarp in the mountains when I was there 40 years and more ago.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I'm happy that the video brought back those cherished memories for you and that you enjoyed the experience. All my videos are real recordings of said materials, this one was recorded with a typical beige/brown canvas weave tarp. :)
