you mean win in 1 move? black can't because... he can't! i'm not sure how i can help you. maybe you can suggest me a move and i'll say why is it invalid or sth.

@@md.mohaiminulislam9644 I think, the question is: Why can't black win with h6-e6 then a2-c4. Because that's what the commentators were discussing how black threatens a win, and the white move d8-f8 doesn't seem to prevent that. So why doesn't black go for this sequence, what counterplay does white have?

Planning to become a world champ in this, still don't have a training partner, anyone interested write me, I haven't played a single game of this so I would like more experienced players to play me so I can feel the game out.

I am surprised by the low quality of this game. James had a win in 2 moves but did not see it. He needed 3. And one of the commentators was "champion" and does not see anything.. Many online players are stronger than these people.

You have to consider a few factors: (1) This was 2017. James is probably considerably stronger now (2) This is a live game, so the time control "feels" much faster than online (3) They are "multi-game" players, not specialist of LOA (4) Linked to 3, the commentator is a champion of Pentamind, very strong in Chess, Poker, Backgammon but not a LOA specialist (5) The "kibitzer effect": it is easier to spot things from the sideline.
All in all, however, I agree that most probably stronger players exists. They are welcome to come to London (or to the Balearic Islands next year) to strive for gold.

@@MaurizioDeLeo I guess most of those "world champoinships" there are a joke.
