This was almost therapeutic to watch. Great work!
If you make 1000 videos, I will watch every one. I follow a bunch of woodwork creators and they're great, but you have a different, more experienced approach that I really like. Thank you!
thankyou, it is allways a pleasure to watch you.. jack from the uk..
I like the dust collection next to the drill
I put a link in the description to a video I made recently that described that dust collection system. I am extremely pleased so far.
Watched this like 3 times now. Like you I like everything in one place. I just got a flex shaft and was looking for something along this line. I got several ideas from you and am finishing the build of my own cart. I did go with a slightly larger base at 14 inches square but wanted to incorporate drawers in mine. Would love to send you a picture if possible. Thanks again I really enjoy your content.
Your videos are always gems! I'm not European, but I really appreciate the metric sizes of nonstandard parts. Maybe someday you could do a video about how you make videos? I'd love to see what goes in to making them so tight and clean.
As always: Great job Patrick!
Well designed project, profesionally presented - per usual!
Patrick: Your videos are well thought out and organized for easy viewing and easy to understand, What a good idea and thank you for sharing, David Adair
As always well thought out
Thank you for another clever, easy to watch, very professional video with a helpful project, I like the metric as I'm not US based
I have to say, when you show making a project you are the best at giving instruction of anyone I watch. Thanks
Well done! Very practical and clever - nice to keep everything all together so you can focus on your work and don't lose bits which is easy to do.
Thank you Patrick.
Terrific job, Patrick! I love your videos. You have such an easy manner and you always explain things really well. Plus your designs are always so ingenious. Thanks for sharing!
Really brilliant work, Patrick! Really well done!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
This is a brilliant idea.. I've had my dremel set up hanging from a pipe between the rafters over my workbench. That setup really limits my ability to work. Your stand will free me up to do so much more... thank you!
I have thinking of a way to do this since the quarantine but only came up with using an old wooden coat rack . Your version is so much better.
Thank you I’ve been wanting to build a stand for my Foredom
Very nice!
One suggestion - I created a hanger system for my Dremel tool that is attached to the ceiling joists over the bench in my shop that's a bit more crude that this setup. Rather than hanging the motor directly onto the hanger, I used a short length of bungee cord that prevents vibration from the motor being transferred into the hanger where it could trigger rattling or sound amplification.
Great build. 👌🏼
@10:00 that's just genius! Mine is always a little (tiny) bit off. Nothing that throws anything off, but it's always annoying. And as usual, very practical and picked up a lot of tips. Have the video was looking other stuff in your shop that I can mimic (like that robot arm dust collector and the dowel/slit/sandpaper trick) :)
Great setup, thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Excellent build video! How do you like the flex shaft tool?
Love it!
I'm surprised how many people, with a flex shaft, just leave it dangling on a hook. I'd expect more to rigidly mount a motor in place since, well, the shaft already does the flexing.

- I wonder how many times I could’ve done same but didn’t 😅
I think I want to get a band saw, what kind do you have Patrick?
Oh scroll saw but what brand or model?
I am very enthusiastic about the DeWalt 788. I had two entry-level scroll saws that took pinned blades. They both vibrated my teeth out, they had small throats, and they required pinned blades. Both required tools to change blades. I have also used two very expensive scroll saws, and found they had some nice features, but cost about 3X as much as the DeWalt, which I think sits at the sweet spot for cost, solid construction, and important features. I just checked, and today that saw is available on Amazon at a substantial discount. I put a link to that in the video description.
👍👍👍👍
You must be an engineer if you are an American using metric in a woodshop?! 😮
Maltese Falcon?
Busted. I need the flex shaft to hollow out the falcon to stash my collection of conflict diamonds.
Don't do the metric conversion it's not necessary and very aggravating
How many millimeters in one and a half inch? Ha ha
Interestingly, more than half of my viewers live in metric countries.
They are smart enough not to need you to do the conversion
I really like your techniques I do not do any carving. However I will build a bit holder like this to mount to me floor standing drill press. Currently I am using magnets to hold the bits. Your holder will be more classy 🤣🛫
