This was a wonderful Thanksgiving! It required a lot of work...they all do, but it’s just SO wonderful being with family! Everyone knows they are in for a treat when they spend a holiday with all of you and especially with Priscilla’s delicious cooking! Now your children are ALL so helpful, too! However, sometimes can be difficult. It was for us today because we lost a very close member of our family on October 30. He would have wanted us to go on with the holidays, so that’s what we did today. It was very comforting to be together.

Holidays are a lot of work but when everyone pitches in and helps - it really makes a difference and when folks bring their special dish - nice to eat something different as well. Especially nice that the kids are involved with prep. and it is juat really nice to see such a relaxed easy group together doing what so many of us have sort of lost. The Amish have a strong family and commitment to help each other and for that I admire and tip my hat to them all. So nice - thanks for showing us.
