Enjoy your channel. Great unboxing. I subscribe and nice to see what others think. You have a good balanced outlook. Thanks for what you do, keep up the good work.
yea everything has a bottle opener, allthough with about one minute on learning you can open a bottle with allmost anything. such as a ligther,a normal key, knife, a stick and i have even seen it being opened with paper. i would prefer they put can openers instead.
Nice! The Zippo TMK is my favorite match case out there. I put a 2nd round of striker material on the other side of the cap. The UCO Titan matches are far superior to the large Zippo matches but the Zippo case is much better than the Titan case (IMO). I like that leather blanket roll, too.
On Netflix there is a show called Southern Survival which is from the creators of battle box and they film all the tests they do to decide what to put in it
@David Single no but the also serve other purposes. One with a rounded edge can be used in helping in snuggling nots, creating bevals in wood, many other options. However they are on everything. What happened to can openers? But no not many pop off tops left. But there are many uses of a small utensil like a bottle opener.
If I need a bottle-opener, I use My Bic lighter. The cap, won’t get any damage, and I can re-use it, for «Home-Brewing». It’s better to save that Cash, and use it for Munition, instead.😉
I like the wool blanket and blanket roll carrier. Ive videos of people using them and they roll tool, clothes food, etc and rolled up for a day ir two hike .
You can open ab bottle with a stone that has a 90isch degree angle, or any hard angle on a public garbage can… just push the edge of the lid on the hard surface without touching the bottle and give the top one small hit with the palm of your hand. Pro level is opening a bottle with a lighter or your teeth if you are real desperate…
I like the blanket , the blanket straps, the knife and the matches.! think I would use two blankets inside a poncho in the straps looks like there’s enough strap. Great unboxing !
try a oilskin drover , it's a tent, a blanket, a ground cloth, rain coat, cold weather coat. also try turning one of your blankets into a poncho. the best gear is that with the most use.
I have multiple sets of the zippo matches in different kits. My Seventy2 Pro, I replaced the UCO (which are still good) with the Zippo, my main fire kit has the Zippo and I just picked up another set of Zippo for a day-kit bag I am planning on. That is definitely the best part of the Basic. That blanket, it looks like a potato sack, is it soft?
I can only tolerate a cap lifter on a multitool or pocket knife like a scout or Victorinox. Anything else, no matter how good or useful it may be if theres an integrated cap lifter I will not touch it with a 10ft pole. I just absolutely cannot stand cap lifters being incorporated into everything possible. Even if I did drink I would feel the same way because they're not that important and it's just plain stupid to add one to everything.
This has all the hallmarks of 'stuff you'll need for the upcoming civil war'. The phrase 'nobody's putting a gun to your head' seems a bit off bearing in mind the framing of these products.
Enjyed the vid, i always look forward to the knife of the month. I also apreciate hw battle box prvided items in this box that kinda compliment one another. As always good show👍
I do not really agree with the fishbone tie thing. Learn to tie knots, people. Come on. You'd have to look up how to use the fishbone tool anyway. Might as well spend that time learning proper knots instead, and not depend on the fishbone tool. Hell, I bet Battlbox has included paracord and other cordage in previous boxes. Learn some knots. Great video as always!
You should make your own kit for yourself that is in a maxpedition Spartan wallet I am going to do the same thing in a couple months and I need ideas. Get back to me
My man is sipping a Rolling Rock? Cool, you do realize that that is "yankee" beer? Made in Latrobe, Penn. An old joke, not true of course, is that the reason that RR beer foams so much is because the brewery drew it water from the river, down stream from the sewerage plant, similar to "Bear Wiz"
I couldn't care less about Battlebox, but you always manage to hold my attention. At this point I could listen to you review the phone book lol
Wow that's very kind of you to say. Thank you!
I totally agree! If I ever make a documentary, you’re my first choice for narrator, not kidding.
Enjoy your channel. Great unboxing. I subscribe and nice to see what others think. You have a good balanced outlook. Thanks for what you do, keep up the good work.
I can see the blanket and lantern.Coming in handy.
Bottle opener🤣. I´m German so one thing is for sure: I can open open a bottle with nearly everything in my survival gear.

Don’t comment much but your videos are just great man keep going.
Thank you, Jonathan!
_Don't rolling rock beers have a twist off cap?_

Totally agree with the bottle opener comments 🤣
When I saw the number- nice
My knife has a bottle opener my shovel has a bottle opener my multi-tool has a bottle opener. Yup beers for everyone
Can openers have bottle openers.
Why can't they put more can openers on survival items.

Hey, the bic lighter could advertise that it has a bottle opener on it lol
Club I went to years ago used to give out lighters that actually did have a built in, steel bottle opener
"Anyway, blah, blah, blah... Let's open the box." 😆
I probably have thousands of bottle openers with all my survival gear😂
surviving with beer. make sure you have a ton of bottles in your kit. that way you have so much fun surviving that you make it in to a lifestyle. :D
Eric, I knew I recognized your voice from E.T.! Cool hobby too !!
Gotta get me some of these boxes.

You can roll up an extra shirt, pair of socks, pants in your bedroll. It’s easier to carry them that way.
Nice
A new bottle opener! If SHTF I am going to your house to open all my beer!
Fishbone tie is useless, but everything else is good product! Keep up the great vids ;)!
Look at Prepper Nations intro from about a month ago. The intro and that picture on the mission statement is very similar. Love your videos.
In case you don't know what this is.... it's two ladies belts stuck together.
These boxes get worse everytime I see them ,long gone is the cool gear and quality
Good vid just can't handle the bacl ground music

Nope.... Still not regretting unsubscribing to Battlbox immediately after the DOPP Kit Mission...

Haha was looking for gifts for my brothers subscribed because of the beer!
does it say battle box and delivered that way or is it a brown box?

Yeah, I personally wouldn't use the tool much as it's just easier to learn the knots. But it's an interesting item.
Another awesome video and review Eric!! Good job!
#1 piece of Canadian survival gear is the wool blanket.
dating back too the glory day's of the HBC.
Right on
Had no idea you were a rolling rock guy.
I love these videos man

Another cracking video, mate
really enjoy the battlebox vids
*It seems each time you get $50 worth of gear for $175 a month ...*

Way ahead of you! :)
@@KitbashedSurvival I’m excited for that one
Great video. Loved the beer interlude. Good haul of stuff this time.
Thanks, Peter. Hope all is well across the pond.
Nice
BACKGROUND MUSIC MAKES IT HARD TO HEAR
I love the background music! I find it very relaxing. To each his own I guess lol.
