Thanks! I grew up with a King Flugabone, which has a notch on each valve that only allows for the correct orientation... then decided to pick up the trumpet last year, found a used Bach, and was mystified that there seemed to be no reliable way to lock-in the correct orientation... but apparently there is! Looking forward to trying this.
Thanks for the video. All the valves in a trumpet look alike, so what difference would it make to place, for example, #1 in the #3 casing and vice versa?
@@ruffruffrebel Yes, you’re correct and thanks for mentioning that. However, my question basically was, “Since all three valves look the same, why aren’t they interchangeable?”
Is this how you normally speak? This topic is supposed to be how to do a valve alignment aka Bob Reeves etc. I click it and it's beginner stuff on how to put your valves in. Dumb
Great vid! Straight to the point and pleasant. Thank you.

Worked like a charm. Thank you.
My valves didn't have numbers, but I saw how to align the holes correctly on the first valve, and the twisting, so it worked.
this was an amazing trick thank you for the video
Thank you so much 🌸💯👍🙂

Some trumpets have numbering for the valves, itll say S1, S2, and S3.
