Thank you for the detailed review. I'd love to use C150X for compact spaces like car scenes and small bedroom/bathroom setups and I think it would be a cool addition to my film making abilities.
I am a student filmmaker in the Philippines, renting lights have been tough as I don't always have a budget. This light won't only solve my problem but boost my outputs as well. Cheers from the Philippines!
Seems like a perfect travelsize light with great features. This would be perfect for my work as a real estate photographer/videographer. I am currently in the market for a light like this, but the 100 watt lights seem a bit underpowered. Thanks for your review and keep up the good work. Almost 10k subs!!
Just finished the video and I gotta say I enjoyed this review! I think this combo is great for run and gun filmmaking and for photography as well. The fact that that is bicolor, lightweight and you can break it down easily is a game changer and I like the power output too for something relatively small 🤝
I am currently stuck with no lights at all for creative filming and always have to depend on natural or practical lights. Winning this light would be really good as I can literally set it up anyway to make my videos better. Great review, as always!
Thank you for your review!!! It hasn’t been reviewed in Korea yet, so I was very curious. I‘m mainly taking the necessary photos for articles published in publications, and recently I’m even doing a simple video shoot. So I‘m feeling the need for new continuous light lighting.
Let me tell u bro, super bright! You know, 5310 lux @ 1 meter, nearly 2000 lux higher than the 100 watt constant light on the market. The key is that regardless of low or high brightness, its color temperature is very accurate. It will be a good choice for U😁
Thanks for the great video! This amazing light would be perfect to use in my portrait photography. Light position is key and this light, being so portable and small, would allow me to quickly obtain strong results.
I would use C150X for filming events and weddings, I will always put it in my bag because it's so small yet so powerful, I don't need to decide weather I need to bring lights or not anymore. I can just bounce the light to the ceiling or I can put it behind the bride and groom to get their silhouette and spray water behind & in front of them to get rain drop effect, also add blue or orange color gel to get different style, get them to kiss & shoot in slow motion 😊 Great channel, you deserve more subs!
Looking to upgrade my Elgato Key lights to start product videography. Thought about the Godox SL 150W, but found your video. This new light looks really really promising. ❤ Great video!
Thanks for the review! I wish it had a dedicated remote instead of an app based remote. I love working with light and a c150x + a gobo would be sweet! I think light elevates any footage and is the equalizer between a 100 and 10,000 dollar camera.
I really like that the pocket options get better so they can replace bigger gear. I'm going aboard soon, I would love to have this with me as a compact option to improve my lighting in interviews!
Very informative video, thank you! Can I suggest a comparison video between this and Colbor W100? I feel like they're pretty comparable and even have some similarities in the design.
Looks great, I was looking for the small Zhiyun lights before (X100 and G200) but this would be somewhere between. Stronger than the X100 but still possible to use it with batteries outdoors.

Thank Your Filmmaker for this INFORMATIVE video. As of today, August 21st, 2024, yours is the ONLY one that test this light with a Vmount battery. The most interesting thing is when you demonstrate your Vmount battery can supply only 50% of the power that this light needs.

I’ve seen many videos of similar lights by competitors. Obviously, the small size is great, and with this style of light all share similar problems-getting very hot, fan noise, needing a full-size Bowen’s adapter. The design looks beautiful. I like Sirui, but it’s disappointing with the uneven light when using the Bowen’s adapter and a full size reflector. It should create much more even light with the adapter. That’s why I prefer a light with a built in full size mount (even if it makes the light larger in size). Disappointing also that with a v-mount battery the light can’t be used at full power (if I understand you correctly). At half power on this 150W light (with a V-mount battery), a Sirui 60B light would create nearly equal light by instead using two NP-F batteries. Obviously, many people don’t need to use lights at a full 150W of power, but they buy a powerful light to have access to that power when needed. On a V-mount battery this 150W light has a wimpy 50% power. Is there an option to use multiple V-mount batteries and allow for full power?
@@GeologyDude your points are very valid. You'd expect that with an adapter the light should at least be even. About the v-mounts, I don't know why I wasn't able to achieve full brightness and unable to test multiple vmounts at a time. Not sure I know how to. But also its good to know the limitations.
