They won't make that big.
Cos Lifepo4 battery as of now each KW weighs 11kgs
Adding extra 15-20kgs will also affect.
Real life range 150km is good enough for a scooter. Accommodating more than 4KW battery as of now not possible even size wise .ather is against removable batteries which is boot good in maintaining BMS.
Gogoro will give tough competition to ather as it's removable and not so unrelaible like other Chinese scooter .
Chetak releasing an ICE scooter and Ather releasing a proper family scooter are just impossible. Only possibility in near future is Gadkari banning diesel cars followed by ban on ICE vehicles.

Great work guys , Appreciate the efforts . But as an Ev user , i could confidently tell you that what we really need is better Range and faster charging. A 200 km range and a 2 hr home charging would have really made it the Apex.
Being a ather user for 2years . Really a satisfied customer myself with package of performance and efficiency this bike provide. Coming to range i never fear about charge going down as charging station is available for me all the time . In my office there was only ather when i bought now its 11 bikes. Thats reputation of ather . Good job

@Ather Energy thank you for all your hard work. But still a very important point to be addressed. SAFETY. No improvement in Braking distance. No ABS. Unsafe wheel size for a performance vehicle. My ather 450 X Skid across on an emergency braking. Now with multiple fractures I survived. I Hope your team will give priority for SAFETY soon.

You are right abs is a must. The back wheel locking is pretty frequent in my scooter too.

What about the range? Iam an existing ather user but waiting for ather to increase their range in their next model,atleast a 140km range would be good to start with.

1.suspension
2.headlight
3.provide center stand
4.minimum range we expect 200kms
5.You need to plan more fast charging stations in highways. Hence we can plan for 50+kilometers ride
6.magic twist - you guys have magic by cost cutting removing front brake. What if left brake fails or nor working ???
7.you guys have many colors but when we approach show for ather at showroom will have limited option to select
8.you can increase storage space pls note another ev in market with good storage
9.you need to plan for a family scooter as well example like i

What a technological advanced Ather is. It is fare ahead of all its competitors
Scooters are mainly bought for day to day city use. We dont drive scooters on highway to experience 100kmph. The major hassle is range. How people are supposed to come back home after going out on drive at 100 kmph. City traffic and potholes doesnt even allow to hit 60 most of the times. Plus the company will charge a much higher price tag for the feature which majority of users never wanted.

Tarun/Ather team, well done with your new product. Just to inform you, I own a 450X gen 3 and I can see the MAGIC TWIST is available in my scooter as well. Whenever I twist the lever opposite, the vehicle stops. Hope that doesn't affect the motor by any chance.
Same is available in my Ather 3gen as well. Guess the sensitivity is lesser then the new Ather Apex. I don't use this feature as it creates noise and doesn't do much on the battery regen. Just ride it peaceful and the scooter gives decent range.

I have 450x Pro Pack Gen. 3 with 3.7 kwh battery and highest that I've achieved in terms of range was 126km on single charge and i am very happy n satisfied with my Ather. But public is asking for more range that Ather should look into, slash extra features, build a scooter that has basic features and high range somewhere close to 180-200 kmph..... Plz 😬

My suggestion is, that you guys should interchange the brake levers. The magic twist is taking care of the rear brake. Then the left brake should take care of the front wheel.

I have brought 450 apex & wrap+ mode is just awesome.
I love this more then my car or any other vachile I have ever drove.
However, it's not for beginners. It is dangerously Punchy.
Definitely not for family use.
Overall, it's totally worth the cost if you are looking for an adrenaline rush on wheels...
Tarun please stopping dancing🕺... Improve the range & bring down the cost... All these warp+ , magic twist & see through panels looks fancy & definitely does not add up to the value of product???? Tell me , how many electric scooter riders would dare to put their vehicles on open highways???? Unless & untill they carry a charging infrastructure.... Be practical ather guys. At the end of day a electric vehicle user mostly demands range & less total cost of ownership .. A disappointed 450s user😢😢😢😢😢... Getting a range of around 55 to 60 only

I own an Ather Gen 3, which has been great with a 3.7KWh battery capacity and supports upto 93km speed! I expect more essentials like higher battery capacity for longer distance travel, and improving the current charger capacity from 750 watts to 1500 watts for fast charging, ABS is a must as the wheel gets locked while panic braking. The city speed limits are from 40 km to 60km and that's where Ather shines at the moment where it provides the kick when needed. Anything more than 90 km speed becomes unusable unless I use it for highway, which the Ather is not built for due to range issues. What is the point of having a feature when you hardly use it? I'm expecting more value-for-money propositions.
Please have an option to either keep the transparent back or not have it based on people's choice and increase the range also
Include a transparent panel, promote it as "Engineering Marvel " and burn customers pocket🤣. Forget abt battery upgrade, Snapdragon 212 processor, really. This processor was released almost 9 years ago, over a time this old processor spoils user experience.

The 450 series is not a customer product but a passion project. Respectable, but it just fits for niche people and not the broad customer base.

I have huge respect and love for all these efforts sir, but everyone is asking for more range so can you guys get a scooter that has bare minimum features and range as high as somewhere around 180-200kms
1. Lost privacy because of transparent space. I might put some jewellery there or some personal stuff.
2. Twit mode -> Sometimes i leave my hand from the throttle for a small stretch for my fingers. This will bring Scooty to halt.
Second one is a major problem hope they've found a solution.
Magic twist should come to all Ather. You can't develop such a feature and keep it for just few hundred vehicles.
It's already there in every ather. Its available in my gen 3 scooter. Try in yours too

But same time they have to consider that people want
1. More range in warp or sports mode around 150
2. And a scooter not sport bike
3. And more intelligent tech as you build up
4. And no more subscriptions

I think ather can be market leader if they work on range (they can launch different varients according to price like range of 150/200/300), kerb weight tests (for assurance of build quality), seat length. It's looks are osm and tempting. I know the chassi is excellent but I think you have to show it by kerb weight tests by popular tech, vlog, etc. TH-camrs. And price should be below 1.88 L. That's my thoughts. The most important requirement according to me for ather is to work on swappable battery system to compete from outside compitition.
What could they have given in apex 🥵:
- Better battery
- Incrased range
- A better motor
- ABS
- Introduced a gearbox to reduce belt noise
What they gave 🤡 :
- A advance regen
- a greater top speed
- And a tpms
Just at 40k more than their previously expensive model

Way back from ather 450 1st gen.
I have been mostly using reverse acceleration to slow down my vehicle rather than brakes.
I only use brakes when the vehicle slows down due to twist and theh applying brake will save brake pads and disc.
Doesn't matter who is the first mover. You have to be the fast mover. Marketing should be more aggressive. Ather is a very capable scooter.

Ather owner here. You won't have to hire marketing and sales rockstars to explain simple things to you, this will be a deal breaker for many. A simple range boost, a shoddy 30Km would've been a better deal, Stats are important to you right, I give you a stat, frustrating over 60 Km range for protecting the battery and then knowing that you can only go to 60 Km is worse tradeoff! Function over form, No! But Ather is now trying to please genZ now? Speed is enough, you get it already in sports and warp! Plus nobody is talking about battery degradation in warp! Man this was a disappointment.

Ather 450x Warp Mode is a limited amount of time to use. Warp and power are not required by customers, they are required to have a large battery capacity

Great Job. But I think, you have added unnecessary transmission loses due to belt drive and also addition of the wear out parts. Don't you think the direct drive motor could be more better?. Another aluminium frame part is more negative than positive feature. Aluminium is brittle material and it bound to break with impact during even minor accident.

Transparent panels would have made more sense if the chasis had some futuristic rgb lightings mainly to be used during night time just to flex

Does the twist braking really get used to?, I just cant understand the logic, I mean weve been driving scooters and bikes for more than 50 years and those interactions with the brakes and throttle brake coordination have always felt sufficient enough i belive,An additional ABS module would do well for the braking distance or stability ,wont a new norm which is actually not that important rewire our brains to a new approach , Im a little confused, How have u guys approached this problem (is it necessary to have a completely different driving norm? ) would love to hear
