- FIRST PART
In this match, Dayvie (David Kim) plays KHB in a close match with a lot of back and forth and barely any expansion building before KHB pulls off an attack with perfect timing. Does he win against the nigh-invincible David Kim? WATCH AND FIND OUT!
i like how they kept the old school look of the health bar / energy bar. Looks cool in my opinion.
whoever uploaded this is a god
@JuryDutySummons I gotcha, again, I wasn't bashing or anything. I was just curious. Thank you for supplying me with a respectful answer.
@qckslvr Some people enjoy engaging in a strategy game like this. It's a bit like chess, only more intense. There are two levels to the game... yes, on one level micro-management of your units is important. However, macro-management of your resources and deciding what kinds of units to invest your time into is just as important. Maintaining a balance between micro management, macro management and intelligence gathering makes it a very challenging experience - and thats what we like about it.
This replay illustrates why when Terran fight Protoss, they should get a Ghost ASAP. When the Protoss army is on the ramp, one EMP would have won the battle for Terran as the Protoss are all clumped together. It is very easy by the 8:00 minute mark to have a Ghost with plenty of energy, and you don't have to research EMP.
He's Dayvie in the beta.
@matt1746 From what i've heard, you can't get the music work on replays
I dont recall the Protoss having what looks like Dreads in Starcraft I lol
scanner sweep
Yes. Please.
You're video's are really good but the Terrain your fighting isn't David Kim. David Kim's gamer name is Dakim not Dayvie. Good video though.
he doesnt always play zerg silly, he just always wins when he plays zerg :)
he's the blizzard gameplay balancer basically, so he does have to play all the races sometimes. :)
ya i know i love it, but i wish they kept other things oldschool for example the zealot voice :(
LOL, you can tell it's not david kim from LITERALLY the very first second of the game!!! did you see the "split" onto the mineral line? no? me neither... platinum players always split their workers... guess what, these two are probably two bronze players and i already figured that out and im only at 6 seconds in!
This looks just like Starcraft 1, Warcraft, Command and Conquer, HALO: Wars, and the countless other top down, micromanagin titles. I was just curious how these games are enjoyable, is there anything else to do?
I'm not an action game junkie at all, I love rpg's like Mass Effect and Dragon Age, but I honestly don't see any enjoyment in games like this.
watching starcraft is so boring without korean commentary
