Which really makes you wonder who's stronger between the two.
i know they're probably disincentivized to do a ton with Kang until he's recast but it'd be really fun to just have moments of him accidently interrupting the plot as he is wont to do with Doom
@TkOHarley14 I don't necessarily agree, nor disagree. I think enough second chances have been given to other people, including RDJ, that in the right circumstances Majors should also have an opportunity to make things right and reestablish himself. But again, in the right circumstances. However I also wouldn't be opposed to recasting Kang, as do feel that the character has enough potential to keep him relevant to the stories.
But nah everyone just wants to see Kang killed by Doom immediately because it’s cooler, smh. Doom is obviously the better and more important villain overall, but they’re letting Quantumania’s depiction of Kang taint their perception of the character, when he’s always been an important figure to the stories of the Fantastic Four, Avengers, and Young Avengers in the comics whether people like it or not.

The problem I think the MCU is going to have when they write villains like Kang and doom. Is that their way smarter than the writers what I mean by that is Disney is going to have some activist idiot writing lines for someone like Dr. doom it’s going to sound really really stupid and annoying , when doom attacks the fantastic four and the avengers and then he says his ultimate goal is like killing humans to stop them from dumping in the ocean or something like that it’s gonna make these great villains look stupid. They already did it with Thanos. Thanos doesn’t give a fuck about saving life. He literally loves to murder people just read a comic.
Thanos was excellent, he would’ve been far more boring if he was doing all this for ‘lady death’ Honestly the MCU version of Thanos is better than the comics version
You have a bit of a point. But MCU thanos honestly had better motives. Someone who's only motive is killing doesn't make a memorable villain by itself. His whole thing was it was his mission to balance the world and he doesn't give af what he has to sacrifice to do so. He saw ending the universe as merciful because it wouldn't lead to the suffering he saw on his planet Titan. BUT... you have a great point about Kang. He was written up to be this big bad. Someone who's knowledge of the multiverse makes him incredibly intriguing and smart if written properly. But his execution was bad except in Loki S2. There they showed someone who really knew their shit. Someone who doesn't tell the audience of their wisdom but slowly reveals it like his scene talking to Loki knowing that Loki had gone back in time multiple times. He's truly seen it all and that was great. I wish they had the writers from there actually work in other projects
