ive swam with sharks, been in a few dozen firefights for my life in kuwait and iraq when i was in the Army guarding and running convoys, jumped out of a plane a dozen or so times, been in a gnarly accident on my old motorcycle, but nothing compares to the fear i have of snakes
What a great video guys!! Butter Cup is the perfect swim companion, except for the quick dump she took. How is that wonderful clear pool filtered? Is Kyle using a biological filter, like through the plants and back into the pool? One of my next big projects is a natural pool for the Softies and Map turtles I have accumulated here. (Imports from the US.) I want to use a solar pump to move the water all day through a series of local water plants and water hyacinths. I think it will be cool, and will surely share pics when I finally do it. Thanks for this.
Pretty nice to see someone that believes that it's important to take their snake out. I only have one snake so far, who lived his entire life in a tub before I got him. He lives in a terrarium now, with tons of clutter so he feels safe and I am diligent with the temps and humidity. When it's warm enough we hang out in the yard in the early evening. I know he doesn't "love" me in the mammalian sense but I can tell that in his own way he enjoys his new life. His body language is generally always relaxed. I understand why people keep snakes in rack systems, especially when they have a large number of them and that's ok. But I think for me I'd rather limit the number of snakes I have in order to really get to know them and give them each personal attention.

I'm not sure they can really think beyond eating and reproduction. Don't get me wrong I love snakes but I dont think they are capable processing kindness. Im also not a snake so I cant say for sure.
I love snakes. Once when I still went to guides people came with animals and I and either people who weren't because helped to hold a python. It was so cool and cute!

Even the so called experts do this and only have them to make diffrent morphs and the animal is very rarely seen as anything other then a bunch of genes. Welldone n absolutely beautiful!
