Our genetic make up is different from the West, diet is different, exercise and physical activity is different, environment is different BUT somehow all ranges of Cholesterol and Sugar and Hb etc should be the same ???? There is very poor data on Indian population on all these metrics. We first need to have a normogram for India, and then decide. Else, this sounds like another push by pharma for introducing stuff into India.

Seriously...that's truly sound propaganda and misguiding...while approach talk @9.35 in response of sunlight (not upto mark to consider it as specialist advise)

You have spread more confusion & doubts in the mind of common people. You seem to be medical reporter of the channel. Do a search in every possible way including all medical journals & find a one case where vitamin D toxicity had occurred when the patient were taking Vit D supplement in a dose lower than 4000 i.u daily? In almost all reported cases of Vit D toxicity either the patient by mistake had consumed vitamin D in 100 to 1000 times more than recommended doses or they had some prior medical issues which contributed in producing Vit D toxicity. Indian should get msg loud & clear that they need Vit D supplement. Thanks 🙏

If this program was telecasted by the channels like Republic Bharat or Zee or aaj tak, I would have cross verified the content at least 10 times.
These fraud media or godi Media has ruined the business of delivering information.

11:35 acceptable range of Vitamin D. Anything above 20 is normal. Anything below 10 is deficient.
    13:51 use 1000 - 2000 units daily.

Take atleast 10000 iu of vit D daily with k2. But why we need supplement when we got sun all year. Sunbath 20-30 mins ( depending on skin colour) in early morning or late evening daily.

Minimum 2,000 IU of Vitamin D needed daily. More needed if your weight is more or low level of Vitamin D in blood below 20 or if one is above the age of 50 years.

I live abroad and doctors don't even test for vit. D. They by default recommend vitamin D because of living in Northern hemisphere. I do feel energetic after taking it especially when I play badminton regularly. Another vitamin I take is iron that helps further in excercise.

Dr unable to explain things properly. Very confusing.
Please explain if there side effect of over doze?
In my opinion, people need to take regular exercise or regular day to day home ot some physical work, reasonably nutritional food and enough sleep.
