  • @DarkReapersGrim1
    @DarkReapersGrim1 10 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    I've played hours and hours of this game. It's fun and in some cases, really fun. The major detriment of this game, and the reason why I'm most likely going to stop playing it, is that it's heavily reliant on you not only spending real money, but spending a lot of it, in order to actively compete against your opponents. This could ultimately reach over $100, and at that point, you would've had enough money to purchase at least two good console or pc games.
    In order to earn coins in the game without paying any real money, you have to not only play against an opponent, but you also have to win and win many times. For example, you'd have to play and win 30 games against human opponents in order to have enough coins solely to purchase a pack of five cards without using any real money (not exaggerating). And that pack of five cards that you're able to purchase after beating 30 opponents, is considered a "basic pack" as opposed to the "expert" pack, which costs real money.

    I don't think you actually go through all the TH-cam comments on these videos, but for the record the arena draft part of the video is absolutely vital. Hearing your thoughts about what cards you pick and why is amazingly helpful for new players or players who haven't used the particular build you use. Maybe keep it in its own segment, but do keep it around for any future videos!

  • @arnerademacker8548
    @arnerademacker8548 10 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    I am kinda annoyed by how often TB emphasizes that the Raptor card is kinda worthless, since it is a really good card if you play it in conjuction with all the beast buffing cards out there. True, if you don't have one of those then you probably have better choices than the raptor. But the same goes for basically every card that has an alignement to one of the factions and I see him pulling a lot of demons....
    Apart from that, good videos so far, enjoying it :)

    • @arnerademacker8548
      @arnerademacker8548 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    TotalBiscuit.. I know you say this MANY times about the Nightblade, 5 mana cost for a 4/4 that does 3 damage to the enemy hero? BAD, you say... but in my last match against a mage, I was 2 health, he was 5. I could have easily buffed my 1/1 silver hand knight with Blessing of Kings to do 5 damage to him and win but NOOOO he had to pull out a Nightblade and finish me off.. That card is REALLY good mind you, you're just so closed minded and focused on board control when a little bit of instant damage is just as good. I blame you for my failure.

    I enjoyed watching the draft. It gives us a better understanding of the cards in the game and how to put together a solid deck from random cards, plus you gave anyone that doesn't feel that way the option to skip ahead to the matches so if you can do that for these arena videos then I see no downside.

    without having seen the entire video yet ... The Pandaren "get a creature back from your field" effect can be awesome. Imagine you put down a high power creature like a Harpyie with windfury. Next turn then give it Power Overwhelming. Attack the opponents life twice. Then set that Pandaren card to get your Harpyie back (after you attacked with her). Then the Harpyie lives and you can set her next turn (or the same turn again, if you got the mana still). Avoiding Power Overwhelming's death toll.

    Rewatching this, it's quite interesting seeing how TotalBiscuit's opinions on some cards has changed

    I really liking this run. I like seeing how you get out of trouble and how you learn from your mistakes. I can't wait to get into this game. I signed up for the beta and with any luck I'll be playing the game in the next beta giveaway.

    The Oasis Snapjaw is amazing if you're playing the hunter and have a Houndmaster

    It's absolutely amazing how you prefer 3/2 here over 2/3 when later on you completely change your mind. I'm watching back and it's quite amusing to see how different your playstyle is here.
