@@peterbetts858 preaching to the choir, I listened to great Texas and Red Dirt artists when I lived in Texas, radio stations played them all the time. Eli Young, Randy Rogers, Pat Green, Stoney LaRue, Charlie Robinson, REK, Cory Morrow, Josh Abbott, Jason Boland, Cody Canada, Whiskey Myers......no one had ever heard of them. Such a damn shame.
I have not known of Tyler Childers for a long time, maybe 2 months or so, but now I can't stop listening to his music. He's so good! I really wish he would come do shows in my part of Canada.
His facial expressions are haunting. I’m not sure whether or not he has a regretful heart, or a contrited repentant heart and if those faces flow from either.
I wish I had your willpower Tyler I love you cold beer and honky tonk music but I love my LORD and JESUS CHRIST because I know that he died for my sins may the lord help me AMEN
Can’t think of anything more perfect than Tyler Childers playing tribute to John Prine. As good as it gets.
I agree. I love this guy's voice and unique style.!! Go Tyler!!
I mean…Sturgill was friends with him. But he’s too cool to perform anymore.
@@jeffstorey9147You must know Sturgill so well. You must be so cool to speak on his behalf.
@@7996hobguySturgill does seem pretty cool 😂
@@davidaldridge5716 not as cool as you, cool guy.
Lord knows this man finding his sobriety and peace is aging, ironically, like fine wine. Thank god for Childers.
My boy Tyler is nominated for FIVE Grammy's next month, 02/04/24, including Best Country Album, 'Rustin In The Rain'. Congrats John Prine.
3 years and still tears, man I miss John Prine
Same
I think that echos true to many of us
I tried reading a book I gifted to my dad about John Prine and could hardly make it a couple pages without getting something in both my eyes...
I can't mention him without😢
one of the most valuable things that we lost to covid . JP .
I love anybody who just stands there and sings the shit out of a song, and boy does Tyler Childers do just that.
I just realize that Tyler is a great singer and I think he will be one of my favorites for now on
Tyler Childers… a very talented young man!
