I am 16 and I did this a few days back in kullu and Manali(solang valley) both places, I enjoyed at both the places in kullu I didn't get to see much ice but in Manali we literally landed on solang valley it was one of the best experiences in my life, (in kullu) thanks to my pilot he was so kind and his face had that confidence which made me more excited ... We talked while we were flying he explained how it works and then took the camera from me as it was so heavy and captured a great view !!
