The instant gratification they’re subjected to even in little shows they watch. It’s best to keep them far away from screens for as long as you can. Or at least watching things like little bear, less stimulation with no instant gratification. I’m seriously scared for this generation that’s growing up. They’ll all be addicted to phones, tablets, social media, p0rn, it’s just getting so much worse. I consider getting just a flip phone about once a week. I just want to be able to take good pictures

I remember being 12-18 and so obsessive about my weight. I weighed like 95 pounds. It was all I thought about all day every day. I’d run until I felt like throwing up and I’d practically starve myself. I know my mom went through the same thing and so many other people do too. It just is crazy to me that we look in the mirror and see something completely different than who we really are. I remember hearing somewhere that you can receive 100 wonderful compliments but one single bad comment will be what you cling onto and it’s sooo true and it’s heartbreaking

I ignored every hateful comments in school because all they want is to get under your skin, only there to learn and go home and be happy at home with my parents and little brother.
