Try this for gravy. Beef gravy granules 1 teaspoon of Tesco type marmite a sqeeze of tomatoe sauce & a good shake of Worcestershire sauce a a sprinkling of mixed dried herbs. It really lefts the flavour and adds a bit of thickness to the gravy.
I brought these to try today and noticed you’ve had them so thought I’d av a watch. Tbh it’s the 1st time I’ve seen you on TH-cam and you don’t disappoint. Your a very down to earth bloke who can reach out to a lot of family’s who do struggle ££ wise. Reason I say this is with some family’s struggling to get by, your going to icelands and other places which are cheap and giving an honest opinion on foods but at the same time making it affordable for many people. I will defo be watching more.

They are really nice I’ve tried the creamy chicken pasties so nice. Id prefer to pay the extra 50p for Greg’s I’m not keen on the meat quality of pukka pies (full of cartilage)

Top tip, for the best silkiest gravy always put cold water in the pan first then the granules and slowly heat on the hob, I guarantee you’ll be amazed.

Spot on review, found these in my local Iceland in Dublin today, one of the few things that i can find from back home in the UK. No chance in getting frozen British burgers they are not allowed in because some of them do not list that they include beef heart in them which is not a illegal, its just they have to state it. Also found a great pie from Northern lreland, McColgans, Steak And Gravy Pie, 30% Beef Steak. My Mum also found these in Tesco Blackpool.
It's impossible for you to reply to everyone pal but try the deluxe steak and old peculier ale pies lol nows the tricky bit it was from either lidl aldi or Iceland

did the chicken pie for 35 mins today and it came out burnt in an electric oven (no fan) on 200, have the steak pies aswell will do them for 30 mins and hopefully they don't get burnt, I prefer the chicken bakes to the pies, the filling is tastier
People should not look down on people that use gravy granules, I’ve used them for years. but I can also make a rather good gravy from scratch. Great videos

G'day Gareth. Just catching up with yesterday's review. Now there's something I've never done before, eat a beef steak pie and a chicken pie in the same sitting 🤔. They both looked very appetising and great quality. Nice to get a pie that isn't a pastry air pocket with a bit of meat. I noticed your pies were a bit brown at one end. If you are using "Fan Forced" then rotate the pies halfway through cooking. Errr then remember which pie is which 🤔. Another great Pie review. They were all pastry with very little filling, after a few mouthfuls of those pies I was like a cat coughing up a hairball! Can't beat Iceland, Hollands pies n puds any four ready cooked £2.25, also tip here my friend Air fryer is a small compact oven, from frozen about twenty mins cooks most pies n frozen chicken snacks
Pie's from the butchers shop are the best of all, packed full with filling, yes a bit more expensive but worth it. Again great video and good review Gareth. 👍👌

Yes I was over in Aus for 10 months in 09 they didn't know what salt and vinegar was when I got chips, they give me chicken salt, and didn't have a clue about vinegar going on chips haha🤣😋😋
I occasionally buy the frozen Greggs meat free sausage rolls and the meatless meat lol tastes nothing like pork. I'm not sure what it tastes like. Probably guar gum. Haha. But the sausage rolls once cooked are okay to eat. Not great but okay. You get 4 for £2, which I am happy with. Cheers for the review.

These pie's are well filled I would only buy them if they reduce the price. At the moment Iceland have the greggs sausage and bean bake and cheese and onion bake for £1 instead of £2.25p

I’ve seen that tops are different patterns on each pie 🥧 which is good if freezing them without thee boxes to save on freeze space.

Can't beat Iceland, Hollands pies n puds any four ready cooked £2.25, also tip here my friend Air fryer is a small compact oven, from frozen about twenty mins cooks most pies n frozen chicken snacks

Pie's from the butchers shop are the best of all, packed full with filling, yes a bit more expensive but worth it. Again great video and good review Gareth. 👍👌

Yes I was over in Aus for 10 months in 09 they didn't know what salt and vinegar was when I got chips, they give me chicken salt, and didn't have a clue about vinegar going on chips haha🤣😋😋
I occasionally buy the frozen Greggs meat free sausage rolls and the meatless meat lol tastes nothing like pork. I'm not sure what it tastes like. Probably guar gum. Haha. But the sausage rolls once cooked are okay to eat. Not great but okay. You get 4 for £2, which I am happy with. Cheers for the review.

These pie's are well filled I would only buy them if they reduce the price. At the moment Iceland have the greggs sausage and bean bake and cheese and onion bake for £1 instead of £2.25p
