I would catch a lot of flack where I'm from in the US if I ever praised the police for how kind they have been to my family regarding my son Duey & rightfully so bc it's usually unheard of. Duey is Autistic & often does what is referred to as bolting or eloping & I have had to count on the police to assist me with locating him on countless occasions. In the US the police have been known to brutalize & murder people that look like me so it’s refreshing to see police in a funny light hearted way & understand that all over the world someone has to maintain law & order & I think that we can all agree that we need police to protect & serve & that we all need to live our lives in peace & harmony & get back home to our respective family & love ones at the end of the day. Police is Your Friend should be true & is yet another lesson just from the title of this amazing & hilarious prod. to be a call to action across the world for police & the civilians they are sworn to protect to make an effort on improving communication & having more understanding for the GOOD but with the expectation of fairness, accountability, and empathy in one another.
