I’m up there in age (49) and today I picked up my first guitar, a PRS SE Custom 24-08 and Spark 40 amp. Biggest hurdle was walking into a shop and holding dozens of guitars not knowing a thing and being out of a comfort zone. Going to give the GSS a go tomorrow and see if this old dog can learn a few things.
Obviously it's awesome that you're giving gear away but just asking musicians about their projects and putting some of it on your platform is incredible! I wish the music TH-camrs would do more of that since it's so hard to get your stuff out there in front of this many people. Keep it up man!

Just wanted to tell ya how much you inspired me to start playing guitar again, I have been subscribed to your TH-cam channel since 2016, I have been playing guitar since 97, got serious about guitar in 98, bought my first Les Paul in 2000, about a week ago I got hurt, cut my left middle finger, it got severely infected, I have been so bummed out, can't play guitar for a few weeks, I always jam with some of my family around Christmas, we play local venues, hoping to be able to play guitar next week at a gig I have have year, it's almost time to change out my stock pick ups in my Epiphone Les Paul standard, they sound good but it's time for an upgrade, I recently sold my 72 tele deluxe, it was a very awesome guitar, sounded amazing, I just never played it much, I ended up selling to one of my brother in laws, he never had a good electric guitar or amp, so I hooked him up, music/guitar is my life, and guitar is what helps me in life, been heavy into guitar/music since I was 13, got into classic rock, country, alternative country in 97, I went to farm aid in 96, saw Neil Young, sun volt, and so many other amazing artists/bands, after that I was driven to music
GC in Nashville is the best and that's the best one in Nashville. Shout out to the small local shops but it's an experience to visit. Growing up my mom got tired of me asking her to take me. Great memories of getting my first "real" guitar from there, an Epiphone G-400.
The holidays have been rough this year and this really boosted my mood. Love it when people with your reach can give back to communities. Happy holidays
