Stardew Valley is a simulation role-playing video game developed by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone. Players take the role of a character who takes over their deceased grandfather's dilapidated farm in a place known as Stardew Valley. The game is open-ended, allowing players to take on activities such as growing crops, raising livestock, fishing, cooking, mining and foraging, and socializing with the townspeople, including the ability to marry and have children.

Well he did start off doing the work with the cultists, but then after it picked up steam he did not need to do it, therefore he did not. He sees himself on the same level as them for he did the same work, he gave them the nutrition and they got the work done. The nutrition is what gets the body to work, he does clearly know best. And then there's the subconscious bonds formed by the 95% of the brain which is operated subconsciously forming bonds and understanding. Of course he can create one in a any game, when you're good enough at something people will obey.

Considering the CULT in the title, I'm surprised how wholesome this turned out to be, lol.
It really should be no surprise. After all, being wholesome comes as naturally to Kevin as forming cults. Both things clearly come hand in hand. The only surprise is that this particular cult wasnt living in his basement, but i guess an underground farm wouldnt have worked quite the same way.
I mean, aside from all the people passing out from exhaustion and being banished to the mines. :P

we are absolutely insane as a fan(cult) base. watching everyone eat the sap and LITERALLY poisoning themselves for kevin was what broke me
Surprised that Jim gave them all their own houses and didn't put down as many beds as possible into just a few houses.

For this mod, the amount of beds don't matter it's the amount of houses. Evreyone can sleep in one bed if they want too. Keep the dear leader warm and sacerfice themselves when the cows come home.

Kevin is so good at establishing cults that i am awaiting the day when he does so outside of the games, i got my picture of the Dear Leader already on my wall!
Someone should make a playlist of all the cult related videos, just to see how many there are at this point

@@pedrovallefin8406 I mean if people can not only count but even show every clip of videos which feature Jim Pickens murdering someone, this probably wouldn't take too long. Few sims videos actually feature the cult, it would mostly be looking trough his RP videos to check if he made a cult at some point, and adding the Plague Inc one, this, and the Sims videos in which he uses the Get Together expansion (Otherwise it's not a cult, it's kidnapping) to make people work for him.

Are we just not going to acknowledge how wild it must be for the npcs. Just imagine an old grampa you knew going "Ah, my grandson and some of his friends will be taking over the estate..." and then a HOARDE of like 30 people come rushing from the farm the next morning shouting praise to their leader
I’ve been having a really rough time lately for a lot of reasons, and your videos have been a major comfort for me. They never fail to cheer me up with how ridiculous they are, and no matter how many times I rewatch them it always feels like a big hug. Imagine a movie about small village where farmer dies and leaves his farm to a grandson so it stars form a scene where villagers wait for their new townmate on a bus stop, the bus finally appears on the horizon, but wait... There is 3 more busses behind it. As they arrive the area gets flooded with people in robes with empty stare and one man comes to you with a slight grin reaches his hand and introduces himself: "Hi, I'm your new farmer Jim Pickens".
As the area gets deforested Jim's overgrown plot of land transforms into a town of its own and with many other problems the conflict between villagers and cult rises. And the movie becomes hardcore horror from this point.

It's been a while since I laughed out loud at a youtube video. This was extremely great! Gave me some RTGame vibes, he used to do a lot of videos like this where they play a game with so many others. Kevin has a different style to it, his witty remarks are genius!

I watched this video yesterday and I just had a dream last night where it was some ancient alien civilization where they had 5 gods and 1 ruler that was elected. For centuries it was always the same ruler, until today. It then basically played out like this but with a big Hollywood budget.
I’m now slightly disappointed the big cinematic Call Me Kevin video turned Netflix series wasn’t real.
