Great reaction to the amazing Forestella. I never thought I would enjoy listening to songs in a foreign language until I found Forestella. Their voices are like instruments and make the most beautiful sound. I listen to them all the time. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your reaction to this amazing song performed by Forestella. Forestella members are known as "The Kings of Harmonies" and perform each song in an amazing way. On the other hand, I'd like to make a special request. I discovered two Forestella Korean songs that are masterpieces of art. The first reason I asked for your reaction is because from beginning to end you are impressed by the feeling they put into the lyrics. As always, their harmonies are perfect and the musical arrangements are wonderful. The second reason is that there are a few reaction videos to these songs and I would like to hear your comments and analysis on these two songs. Below I have included some additional information about these songs and their English lyrics. Forestella - Nocturne & Words From The Wind | kiwa LIVE session premiered on August 8, 2020. This is the video link - th-cam.com/video/5d4rvkMotWI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZFXyvAbFnUv1Xs83 - Please watch this video containing the two songs and turn the English subtitles on. FORESTELLA - NOCTURNE. This song is included in the Mystique album released in 2019. The Melancholy of a Lost Love in Forestella's 'Nocturne' Forestella's song 'Nocturne' is a deeply emotional piece that explores the feelings of longing and melancholy associated with a lost love. The lyrics, written in Korean, use several natural metaphors to express the narrator's sadness and endless waiting. From the wind blowing to soothe his burning heart to the seasons passing without bringing comfort, each line is imbued with a sense of hopelessness and unrequited desire. FORESTELLA - NOCTURNE - ENGLISH LYRICS (copied from the TH-cam subtitles) The wind is blowing to cool down my burning heart As the season draws on, I quietly languish One late spring night when petals scatter, your scent is still in the air Are you coming at last? I quietly languish The wind is blowing to cool down my burning heart As the season draws on, I quietly languish As the flower heartrendingly withers, another helpless night wanes Are you coming at last? I quietly languish Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh The cloud reluctantly whispers to me, that person has forgotten you already The ties you thought your destiny are meaningless like a thin thread Petals fall, blossoms fall off, flowers are falling in the wind Is my love finally coming? I just quietly languish Ah, ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah Ah, ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah Ah, ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah Ah, ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah Ah, ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah Ah, ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah The wind is blowing to cool down my burning heart As the season draws on, I quietly languish The second song in this video is "Words From the Wind" (Included In The Forestella Album released in 2021). It contains an encouraging message about leaving behind the worries of the past and the future in order to enjoy and face life in the present. FORESTELLA - WORDS FROM THE WIND - ENGLISH LYRICS (copied from the TH-cam subtitles) One day a passing wind left me some words of advice Raise up your head from the long sadness and look up the sky for a while So says the wind, like the birds in the sky don't look back and just go on Glorious days or restless days Put them all aside Live your life today How far have I come? Where should I go from here? I have been through so many days but I feel like I’m starting over everyday So says the wind, like the birds in the sky Don't worry about tomorrow and go on Flowers bloom and wither Still the bloom again As long as you live, live with all your might. Every time I am hurt and down The wind encourages me forward Now I understand the words from the wind My long sadness may be a gift from the world So I realize what happiness is So says the wind, finish your wandering. Ride the wind coming toward you Flowers bloom and wither Still they bloom again As long as you live, love with all your heart Thank you again and I look forward to watching your future Forestella reaction videos.
This song is an old masterpiece by the master of Korean music, 'Hyun-in'. Many Koreans love this song, but no one has been able to remake it because of its unique atmosphere. (But Forestella did it!) Surprisingly, Forestella reinterpreted this song as a kind of two-act play. I hope you know how great they were. Information: 'Silla' is the first unified kingdom that ruled the Korean peninsula from 57 BC to 935 AD. Part 1: Ah, Silla Night "I can hear the bell of Bulguksa Temple." "Traveler, stop walking." At the foot of Geumosan Mountain under the quiet moonlight. Let's sing the song of Silla Night. Interpretation: A traveler was passing by the foot of Geumosan Mountain in the middle of the night. At that moment, someone's voice called the traveler under the moonlight. It was the ghost (bass). The ghost stayed here alone for 1,000 years, waiting for someone to tell him his old story. The three tenors symbolize the traveler (reggiero tenor Jo Min-gyu), the moonlight (countertenor Kang Hyung-ho), and the narrator (dramatic tenor Bae Doo-hoon). 'The traveler' begins by singing the first verse, 'Moonlight' adds delicate harmony as if following the traveler, The narrator emphasizes the narrative, and 'The ghost' sounds solemn like 'The Ghost of Don Giovanni'. This has a similar structure to Schubert's 'Erlkonig'. Interlude: The moonlight (Kang Hyung-ho) coldly illuminates the ghost's spearhead, and the strings express the sound of drums or horse hooves announcing the start of battle. Now, the ghost's (bass) past story begins. Part 2: Ah, Silla's Night "The old memories of Hwarangdo come to mind vividly." "The blue river flows and the bell ringing never ends." Following the place where a thousand years of brilliant history disappeared. Let's sing the song of Silla's night. Interpretation: The real identity of the ghost is 'Hwarang' (meaning a man as beautiful as a flower). Hwarang refers to a young and outstanding warrior from a noble family of Silla. The ghost tells the traveler about the glorious memories of the old Silla kingdom. The traveler listens to the ghost's story for a long time and comforts his loneliness. * The bell that rings at the temple at night means time (alarm). 'Hwarang' were considered 'idols of war' in Silla society. They were skilled in academics and martial arts, had beautiful appearances, and had strong loyalty. They always fought on the front lines during wars. And sometimes they performed 'impossible missions'. Hwarang followed very strict rules, one of which was 'never retreat'. So they had a custom of putting on fancy makeup before going into battle. (Because it could be their last battle.) In Part 2, Forestella likens themselves to ‘Hwarang’. On the ‘battlefield’ called the stage (Tournament Music Contest Show), they are as talented as the ‘Hwarang’ who went into battle, with makeup on and full of solemn determination. (Win or die) Reinterpreting this legendary song was like taking on an ‘impossible mission’. They finally succeed in finishing the song (battle) and receiving applause and cheers from the crowd. Viva! Forestella!
With Korean subtitles Great Analysis Tfanks!! If my information is correct, they entered as individuals, won the competition as a team, and officially formed Forestella, after which they first appeared on Immortal Songs and this song made them famous.
😊 coros, voces individuales. Es tal cual, son orquesta, ellos 4. Y hay varias , a capella, no cancion completa. Me encanta escucharte.
I really like your videos! If you like Forestella, I'll recommend other groups that also took part in Phantom Singer. Crezl: Group with 4 singers of different styles (opera, traditional Korean music, K-pop and musical theater). They came third place in the fourth season (the same as Libelante). I recommend their cover of ¡Corre! by Jesse y Joy. La Poem: Winning group of the third season. They have some covers on their TH-cam channel. They did a kpop mashup for the Golden Disc Awards and I also recommend their cover of Rolling in the Deep. Ingihyunsang: They were second place on season 1. It's a group with 3 classical singers and one rock singer. Their performances are very dramatic, one of my favorites is Sinful Passion and another is I Surrender.

FORESTELLA - WORDS FROM THE WIND - ENGLISH LYRICS (copied from the TH-cam subtitles)
One day a passing wind left me
some words of advice
Raise up your head from the long sadness
and look up the sky for a while
So says the wind, like the birds in the sky
don't look back and just go on
Glorious days or restless days
Put them all aside
Live your life today
How far have I come?
Where should I go from here?
I have been through so many days but
I feel like I’m starting over everyday
So says the wind, like the birds in the sky
Don't worry about tomorrow and go on
Flowers bloom and wither
Still the bloom again
As long as you live, live with all your might.
Every time I am hurt and down
The wind encourages me forward
Now I understand the words from the wind
My long sadness
may be a gift from the world
So I realize what happiness is
So says the wind, finish your wandering.
Ride the wind coming toward you
Flowers bloom and wither
Still they bloom again
As long as you live, love with all your heart
Thank you again and I look forward to watching your future Forestella reaction videos.
